“Excellent hotel, well positioned for all tourist attractions.”

This hotel is well positioned for Wanchai Star Ferry and MTR. A warm welcome can be expected from the staff presenting a professional and efficient service at all times. The extra cost for the Club Room is well worth it, with a good Club Lounge and facilities located on the 23rd floor where an unrushed breakfast can be taken as well as afternoon tea and evening canapes and drinks. The hotels facilities are excellent offering a well equipped gym and outdoor pool. Concierge service is available. A good nights sleep was ensured each evening in quiet and tranquil surroundings. At all times we were treated as valued customers.

“Will definitely stay again”

Very impressed with the hotel, the premium rooms were definitely worth the extra money, especially with the extras you get. Great location for the conference centre and also Lockhart Road, will definitely stay there again!

“Great location”

Great location and hotel - as expected of a Novotel. Easy to get to from the airport as there is a free shuttle bus from the Airport Express station. The hotel is also within a 5 minute walk from Wan Chai MTR and the Tram lines and bus routes are within a 2 minute walk. Rooms were clean but on the small side but this is to be expected in this area of Hong Kong. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Only downsides were that there is only free wifi in the lobby and the public areas of the hotel were extremely noisy and busy - this was because it was CNY and a big mainland holiday so the hotel was extremely busy with mainland visitors. The hotel did install a key card access system for the lifts while we were staying which helped make the hotel seem more safe and secure. Overall a good hotel to stay in while in Hong Kong - I would definitely stay there again.

“Not impressed”

The hotel in general was good and the rooms were clean but unfortunately we were only supplied with two small bottles of drinking water in the room per day ,we did complain to the catering manager of the executive floor but we felt in general that this was the hotels responsibility to supply us with water, also during our stay there were no night turn down service available and the bed linen is only changed Saturday,Tuesday &Thursdays unless you stipulate otherwise. As there was a greater selection in the main restaurant for breakfast we ate there on three occasions and found the food in general to be cold, and the chilled orange juice to be warm , and the staff were unhelpful, so we used the executive facilities and found although of a limited choice, the food was of a better quality and much warmer.Compared to the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Kowloon the Executive Lounge at this hotel has a long way to go.
