“Excellent Hotel”

Just stayed for four nights at L Hotel and had a great experience. The hotel room was very clean and modern, great service all around. The location is ideal, directly across the street from the metro which is a few short stops from Central and TST for sites and shopping. Great little restaurants and food stalls in the surrounding blocks as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Area recommendations

Central and TST, but downtown is very small and accessible from Causeway Bay.

“L`Hotel”

overall a pleasant stay , tram was located just out the front as was the tube railway , plenty of places to eat and staff were hospitable . Shops within walking distance , was alos quite at night .

“Not impressed and won't return”

The hotel is inconveniently located and the hotel staff unhelpful and apparently unfamiliar with the amenities that may be located nearby. There is no wifi access. The room is mediocre. Overall a disappointment.

Area recommendations

Central or Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island for convenience, access to shopping, restaurants, etc.

“Great hotel to explore HKG esp roof top pool”

Great hotel and spacious room overlooking the lights of Hong Kong directly opposite Tin Hau MTR station and main tram line. Especially enjoyed stretching out in the roof top pool after a day exploring. Also a sauna available too. Well appointed room and being close to MTR, buses and the quirky trams make it very convenient with about 5/ 10 minutes to Causeway Bay or 20/ 30 minutes to Central. Helpful staff and friendly service.

Area recommendations

The area around Tin Hau is very local with small local shops and restaurants. Great little fresh fruit stalls and supermarkets. Not a touristy area so the ATM opposite Starbucks was a little challenging initially. Very easy access by bus, tram or MTR to Causeway Bay, Central and Central Piers.

“very convenient”

the hotel was right across from tin hou MTR station and there was a mcdonalds, restaurant and convenient store right across from the hotel, every thing was nearby.

“Excellent comfortable luxury hotel in Hong Kong”

This was one of the best 'value' hotel rooms I have had in a long time. The room was very clean and well maintained. the beds were comfortable, A/C worked well and keep room comfortably cool. The roof-deck pool is excellent, with friendly life guards watching the pool. The views from the hotel room were excellent,and the street noise was deadened very well by the sealed windows, a good nights sleep was easy here.

“Good value if you don't need WiFi.”

A reasonable value for those who don't use/need WiFi. Staff is friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that the elevators are slow and backed up in the mornings. I would classify it as a 3 star property (but not 4).

“Not as good as you think”

Hotel is expensive, quality just ok. Just 3 elevators you have to wait a lot (a lot!) during busy hours. Internet is expensive and slow. Also I asked as non smoking room and upper floor and guess waht?..I got smoking and mid/low floor. Will not stay again there. Also beds are hard!...be ready.
