“Location is all this hotel has”

Old hotel, hotel entrance is not convenient and confusing. Hotel refused to record points to my lntercontinental Hotels's loyalty card, boo!

When to go
Nov is the best time. The weather is perfect to visit HK.

“Great Location!!”

I went to Hong Kong during the peak season/week on Oct 1st. This hotel is absolutely a great location as it stands at the center of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, you can easily reach to any kind of transportation, buses, rail, subway etc. within 5-10 minutes walk distance, which is quick and convenience. There is only one thing I am a little bit disappointed about is, there is no elevator directly from rooms to the ground floor, I do not mean that would be a big trouble for me if I travel by myself, but travelling with my baby this time, it is not easy to get her down the street while using the stroller. I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends and family if they are going for a business trip or when they are not travelling with little kids or baby. They do have Shuttle Bus between hotel and the Airport, which is a great option for me this time because I have tons of suitcase and a BABY, much appreciated. They also have continental breakfast provide each morning, despite the menu and taste, this is another reason for me to choose to stay in this hotel again next time.

“Clean Hong Kong Hotel at reasonable price”

This hotel met our criteria of clean,comfortable, convenient location and at a decent price for a major world city. We appreciated the free breakfasts, which saved $$....not a lot of b'fast choices for Western folks, but,FREE!

Area recommendations
Causeway Bay suited us. This is a huge city;we were glad we chose this neighborhood.

“excellent location”

bed was super comfortable. unlucky that room had view of the freeway. Right next door to Times Square and Causeway bay metro station. would stay there again for sure.

“Not good for the price.”

Hotel is very expensive for what you get. Bed tough like a rock. Room just ok. Breakfast, just terrible, dirty tables all the time and service can not be worst. The food quality was really questionable. Front desk service really poor.

“excellent deal, excellent location”

This is a fantastic hotel for the price. Spotlessly clean, attentive and helpful staff, great location next to subway stops, located in a safe and interesting part of the city, superfast access to Internet. I plan to stay here again when I am in Hong Kong.

“Great place, ideal location”

After a lot of research, this hotel seemed the perfect option for a short stay with young kids. We were delighted with the ease of location to get around, close to the MTR, shops, Victoria Park-all easy walking distance, and everyone so helpful. The room was small with a pull-out sofa and a cot in it as well as our bed, but we managed and were delighted with the help we were offered with our luggage, buggy and overall co-operation from the hotel. We had a problem with our safe and within 2 minutes of reporting it, it was seen to and fixed. The complimentary breakfast offered a selection, and although it was a little basic, it suited us with young children and the staff were helpful and enthusiastic-something to do with our blond 1 and 3 year olds we think! We would definately stay here again in the future and were extremely impressed and satisfied with the value for our money.

Area recommendations
Causeway Bay is a perfect location for public transport, a great park for activities for the whole family , good shopping and lots of places to eat.

“Best Hotel”

Having stayed in many hotels, we were impressed with the staff at the Holiday Inn Express. They all could answer our questions, solve our problems, give us excellent directions and made us feel very comfortable
