“HK Romance”

Lovely hotel overlooking Hong Kong Bay. Had a room with bed in the V-windows Beautifull view in morning looking out over bay while laying in bed.

* hotel rooms are small but on par with Hong Kong hotels in general * very courteous staff and very good service * very good gym and pool/jacuzzi * also have spa on-site for massage therapy * restaurants all top quality * rooms come with kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, stove-top) * on-site Business Center * right next to railway station for trains to China (Shenzhen and Guangzhou, for example) * right next to MTR station * right next to Metropolis Mall (with restaurants and grocery store)

“Another nice Harbour Plaza”

This was only an overnight stay this time but we find the rooms and the staff very good at the Harbour Plaza chain. Buffet evening and breakfast meals in The Promenade provided great selection of food. I would have to say that I prefer the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong due to its closeness to the Hung Hom ferry terminal however both hotels provide free shuttle service in and out of town and also to Kowloon station for the airport express train.

“A wonderful hotel which complimented our stay perfectly.”

Wonderful Hotel Nice easy check-in, we stayed in a superior twin room and arrived 2 hours early, but they have somewhere to keep your bags so we decided to use the hotel pool. The rooftop pool was beautiful, with lovely views of the harbour. I also used the gym every morning and it had a wide range of equipment and the running machines and bikes were over-looking the pool and habour. Our beds were very comfortable and it was nice we were provided with slippers and dressing gowns as this made us feel very welcome. The rooms were also made up every day and were very clean and modern. Although our holiday was very busy and we only stayed 4 nights, it was a lovely place to come back to and we enjoyed spending time there. Although we did not go to any of the restaurants (as we went to different parts of the city) they were always busy and had a good atmosphere. It is also a huge advantage having the train station a few minutes’ walk away, ideal for you daily items such as water/coffee/snacks, although be aware you cannot eat or drink on their trains! Hong Kong was a truely amazing city, (one I hope to go back to again) and this hotel really complimented the whole holiday, I highly recommend.

“Ideally Located At Hung Hom Station and Entertainment Centre”

The Metropolis is well situated in a shopping mall and conveniently located at Hung Hom's interchange station, where you can take the MTR Intercity Through Train to Guangzhou. The Entertainment Centre is located next to this Hotel. The facilities at the Metropolis are excellent. The staff are courteous and helpful.

“Ideal location”

Ideal if you are travelling into China. Luxury hotel with very pleasant service and right next to Hung Hom railway station which takes you to Guangzhou East station in China. 5 min taxi ride to Nathan Road shopping area and good to be away from all bustle at end of the day. Nice size rooms and very clean.

“Will use this Hotel again when in Hong Kong.”

Staff were brilliant probably the best I've come across in the many hotels visited. Arriving early morning after all night flight housekeeper was deployed to the first room available after guest checked out and made ready for my use. Restaurants were excellent and the buffet more than good value for the cost. Can't wait to return.

“Good hotel, stunning views”

We were offered an upgrade to the hotel's Harbour Club when booking in, which we took full advantage of. It included an upgraded room on their Harbour Club Lounge floor, free full breakfast, snacks and beverages during the day, alcoholic drinks with hors d'ouvres in the evening, after which from the Club Lounge outside terrace on the top floor we were able to view the light show put on by the various buildings around the harbour; stunning! The breakfast alone was worth the upgrade price, as it was the best we had during the whole of our holiday both in the Philippines and in Hong Kong. The hotel issituated slightly outside Kowloon itself but a regular complimentary bus service from the hotel to downtown Kowloon puts you right into the centre. The service was extremely good and we would not hesitate to stay there again if we return to Hong Kong.

The standards and quality of the hotel. like the resr of Hong Kong were very good
