“A wonderful hotel which complimented our stay perfectly.”
Wonderful Hotel Nice easy check-in, we stayed in a superior twin room and arrived 2 hours early, but they have somewhere to keep your bags so we decided to use the hotel pool. The rooftop pool was beautiful, with lovely views of the harbour. I also used the gym every morning and it had a wide range of equipment and the running machines and bikes were over-looking the pool and habour. Our beds were very comfortable and it was nice we were provided with slippers and dressing gowns as this made us feel very welcome. The rooms were also made up every day and were very clean and modern. Although our holiday was very busy and we only stayed 4 nights, it was a lovely place to come back to and we enjoyed spending time there. Although we did not go to any of the restaurants (as we went to different parts of the city) they were always busy and had a good atmosphere. It is also a huge advantage having the train station a few minutes’ walk away, ideal for you daily items such as water/coffee/snacks, although be aware you cannot eat or drink on their trains! Hong Kong was a truely amazing city, (one I hope to go back to again) and this hotel really complimented the whole holiday, I highly recommend.
“Ideal location”
Ideal if you are travelling into China. Luxury hotel with very pleasant service and right next to Hung Hom railway station which takes you to Guangzhou East station in China. 5 min taxi ride to Nathan Road shopping area and good to be away from all bustle at end of the day. Nice size rooms and very clean.
“Good hotel, stunning views”
We were offered an upgrade to the hotel's Harbour Club when booking in, which we took full advantage of. It included an upgraded room on their Harbour Club Lounge floor, free full breakfast, snacks and beverages during the day, alcoholic drinks with hors d'ouvres in the evening, after which from the Club Lounge outside terrace on the top floor we were able to view the light show put on by the various buildings around the harbour; stunning! The breakfast alone was worth the upgrade price, as it was the best we had during the whole of our holiday both in the Philippines and in Hong Kong. The hotel issituated slightly outside Kowloon itself but a regular complimentary bus service from the hotel to downtown Kowloon puts you right into the centre. The service was extremely good and we would not hesitate to stay there again if we return to Hong Kong.
“second time around”
This is the second time my family has stayed at this hotel.Courteous and friendly staff, excellent accommodation very clean and well maintained. The hotel provides a courtesey coach, from the hotel to their sister hotel in the main shopping street on Nathan road, every 20 minutes.I would certainly reccommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Hong Kong
“Smart Choice”
I have travelled to HK on average 2 to 3 times a year for the past 10 years and have stayed in most of the hotels on the Kowloon side. Short of the Shangri La and the Peninsula, both of which are much much more expensive, this is one of the best I have stayed in. Certainly the best value for money. Its slightly out of TST (the centre on Kowloon side) near the railway station but it does run a free regular shuttle service to the centre which takes under 10 mins or its only £1.50 ish in a taxi. Being close to the station has advantages if you want to travel out to the new territories or china via Lo Wu on the KCR / MTR. Hotel is also close to Hung Hom ferry terminal which takes you to Central or North Point on the Island. Very convenient. Buffet breakfast is average and one of only two detractors from this hotel. The other is the lack of free water in the rooms. Most other hotels supply 2 free bottles of mineral water per day. None in this hotel. Facilities are all great gym, sauna, pool etc. Added bonus is the laundrette (first shop on the left as you enter the mall underneath). Very cheap laundry, Cost me £2.50 for 7lb worth of laundry incl 3 pairs of jeans, half a dozen shirts etc. Hotel service cost was £6 per pair of jeans. (Not that this is bad for a hotel in HK) All in all a great hotel which I will be staying in again when I go back.
“Staff found my passport!”
This is a lovely hotel. Well maintained and linked to a tube station for good transport. The staff here were extremely helpful and went out of their way to track down my passport which I had left in the back of a taxi.
“Can't wait to go back”
A great hotel in Hong Kong with a perfect location in Kowloon district! very clean and the room is not too small as previously written by others travellers. the breakfast is amazing, lots of choices. try a maasage or a facial, so relaxing after a long day out shopping! i would go back there again.
“Excellent hotel”
We were going to Hongkong for the first time. A family of 4 with 2 kids. The service staff is the best. We had to request their service twice - We needed a 220V flat pin plug and another time we needed a little detergent to wash. Both times they were at the door in less than 5 minutes ! The staff is courteous and helpful. There is a Metropolis mall attached to this hotel where you can get milk and other grocery items if required. This hotel is not in the midst of a shopping area, but there is a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes that takes you to Tsim Tsa Tsui area from where you get buses and MTR to get to other places. The harbour view is really wonderful at night. The 9th floor swimming pool offers great view of the harbour and the hot Jacuzzi tub is excellent. It has a well equipped gym as well.
“Hotel experience”
The hotel itself was slightly out, but transport to other areas was relatively easy with the MTR HUNG KUM station through the mall and down the steps. The staff were helpful and friendly and with two small children they were very helpful. The only downside to the hotel, was the need to check the breakfasting details with the hotel from expedia. But this could have happened at any hotel. Hong Kong itself was relatively easy to get to, and although a slight hike to the Star ferry, access to all areas of hong kong and Kowloon was slightly better than the London Underground. Overall Hong Kong itself was an experience. The people were very friendly and helpful, and easy to talk to. Be mindful of the tourist traps in Nathan Road. Lots of Hawkers trying to sell fake goods, which after a while can be very annoying. Would travel back there again, and now I am used to the situation of the hotel would stay there again.
“Good location”
Great for our needs. 3 people so had serviced suite, twin bedded really comfy, plus not quite so comfy sofa bed in lounge. Still also had kitchen, great for breakfast etc. Smoking suite - stank when we got there. Loads of air freasher required even tho air condionted. Great for seeing light show at 8 '0'clock. Buffet fantastic.
