“Don't go again”
Too much to pay that kind of room and service. Doesn't look like 3 star hotel, like student dum. Front desk with "does't care" bad service and Don't understand English.
“Excellent location to experience the real Hong Kong, tiny room!”
This is a clean, modern feeling hotel in the heart of Kowloon in the Yau Ma Tei area, right above the MTR station. If you only need a hotel room to sleep and shower, the size of the bedroom shouldn't be a problem. There are larger rooms if, for example, you have children but the standard room was sufficient for 2 adults. The wet room is indeed tiny and the toilet and sink will get drenched when you shower. For the price you pay in such a central location, I would still consider this hotel value for money.
“cramped but good location and value for money”
the location is in the heart of the Nathan Road shopping district and right next to the Yau Ma Tei subway station. The room is tiny even by Hong Kong standards but based on price is value for money as long as you don't plan to spend much more than the sleeping hours in the room
“Poorly Trained (or Unhappy) Staff”
The location was great and our room was clean, but we were disappointed by the service. An overseas friend was meant to call us, but even after she gave our names and detailed information to the front desk, she was told that there were no such guests. We had even warned the staff ahead of time that we were expecting the call. We brought up the issue and the receptionist apologized, but not more than five minutes later (!), our friend called and was almost hung up on again. This continued for the rest of our stay. Eventually, we just gave up and made calls from a phone booth on the street, as our in-room phone couldn't call outside of Hong Kong. Except for the friendly restaurant staff, service overall was lukewarm, at best.
“Chic Rooms, Sporadic Service”
Locals consider Casa a "hip hotel": relatively cheap with small, functional rooms and tasteful decor. Ours was clean and impressively bright, thanks to the wide window and mirrors. A study desk with ample drawers also made life easier. Be prepared for a tiny bathroom (water runs everywhere and the inabsorbent polyester towels aren't much help), limited hot water, and a bit of noise (Casa's heavy doors tend to slam, and the voices of yelling cleaning ladies can be heard from about 7am onwards). Staff are generally polite and speak decent English; those in the cafe are particularly courteous and attentive. One even went the extra mile to give us detailed advice on our travel plans! The cleaning ladies are always smiling, but can become upset if you are not out of your room by noon. If you plan to have contacts call you at the hotel, be sure they can provide your full name (in both English and Chinese), nationality, room number, the day you checked in, and, if necessary, passport number: otherwise, the front desk is likely to deny such a person exists and then hang up. Only our most persistent friends managed to get through to us! Also, be careful about the morning call service. The staff have a habit of forgetting. Overall, Casa met our needs. If you are simply looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient place to spend the night, I would more than recommend this hotel.
“Worst Experience”
Casa Hotel have most of the room Road facing which makes rooms very noicy and uncomfortable (it is not mentioned anywhere that they have road facing rooms). I personally don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
“" C" is short for closet, which is the size of the room and bathroom.”
excellent location, but no parking or even drop off area, either you drag your luggage to and from a side street for the taxi or risk a traffic accident on nathan road. the lobby is on the 2nd floor. you have to drag your luggage from the ground floor up 4 to 5 steps to the elevator to get to the lobby to check in. definitely not for the handicapped. the rooms are very compact but clean. the bathroom is very clean but smaller than small-actually the commode and wash basin is stashed within the tiny shower stall so everything is cleaned and wet after a shower except amazingly for the toilet tissue which is dry and usable. very good for one person without luggage and strong legs. overall good value for the price if you are not claustraphobic.
“Good location, small rooms though”
Bathroom is very small, if you are not used to a shower/sink/toilet combination. Bedroom area is a bit on the smaller size but comparable to HK standards. TV & aircon was fine. The 2 elevators were not synched so it's sometimes a bit of a wait since guests could call both elevators to their floor. Very close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Free wireless internet was great. Front desk staff were great. Rooms were clean. Would recommend for future stays.
“nice Hotel in HK”
reasonable Price with awesome room
“Efficiently Tight”
Great location next to subway. Standard room is extremely compact and efficient by budget HK room standards. Shower, toilet, sink combination is the tightest room I ever seen. For a budget traveler, it's a good enough to sleep and run. A large person would have issues with room size.
