Stayed here for a few days as we were visitig relatives in the area. First holiday with our 3 month old baby. We didn't want a traditional hotel so this was perfect as we had our own kitchen and living room area. Parking was excellent - right outside = so easy to unload the car.
We were keen to use the spa - particularly the pool as our little girl has just started swimming but needs a very warm pool as she is so young. However, we were concerned about the cleanliness of the water as there was no smell of chlorine in the room and you would expect that if there was chlorine in the water.
We were in Homfirth for a concert at the Picturedrome...the Nook couldnt have been more convienient for this...very friendly staff when we arrived..the room was spotless and had all we needed...brakfast room and all the facilities not to be faulted The only thing was it was slighly too warm at night...although we cannot blame the hotel for the mild december weather. We would most definetely recommend to people and indeed when we return in April we shall book again

Looking for a quiet weekend away. Unfortunately there was a wedding on the night we stayed over so didn't explore too much of the hotel. However this didn't interupt our weekend and the wedding party couldn't be heard.

We chose this because of the proximity to the Picturedrome. Since we were last here a new manager has taken over, and the rooms have been redecorated - clean, light and airy. Sadly we picked the days before the Tour de France went through, so traffic was heavy and road closures were being put into place, but the manger let us park our car there for an extra night when we weren't booked in. They also found a spare room for a friend who was in desperate need. For that we are eternally grateful. The staff were friendly, helpful and I would recommend this to anyone. We will be staying there again. Spot on.
