“Hotel highlight of our trip”
Great hotel!! Had a really pleasant stay here, the breakfast is really good lots of. Fresh fruit and the option of having pancakes as we as any style of eggs. We had a double bed each even though we booked 1 double which was nice and both beds had their own hanging mosquito net- v cute :)
“Quaint hotel”
Hotel is quaint in character in a good quiet location. Breakfast on back terrace overlooking field not to be missed. Service good and staff friendly. Recommend rooms at rear as have balconies. Were helpful in organizing tour and giving local information. Many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Would recommend.
“Great service”
When our Jetstar flight was cancelled the staff got on the phone for us and looked for the best flight to suit our needs. They were very helpful and obliging people. Breakfast was great. The room was very clean and invitingly well presented with our towels shaped like swans. The pool was refreshing and very clean. We were very happy with our stay and Thien Thanh Hotel.
“Very nice hotel in Hoi An.”
Super helpful staff, nicely furnished room. Nice deck overlooking market gardens (vegetables) ... which makes a nice view while having your delicious cooked breakfast.
“Cute, Clean and GREAT value”
Hoi An was amazing and the Hotel was excellent. A little out of the main town yet backing onto the morning glory fields with a quaint little balcony. The room was small and the bed a little hard yet very cute and extremely clean. We would recomend this Hotel to anybody who is ok with small rooms yet a great experience and very good value.
“The hotel created the overall atmosphere for us in Hoi an. Peaceful, friendly and central.”
We had the best time at the Thien Thanh Hotel. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast served on the back deck set the atmosphere over looking the countryside. Our room overlooked the front street and we had some beautiful local houses opposite. We were within walking distance of everything in town and hired bikes with drivers to take us to the beach (very cheap) for two ladies in our 50's we had a ball!! At the beach we chose fish and prawns still alive in tanks for lunch with salads (so cheap) Had clothes made at Tom Tom owned by the hotel just a few doors down and were very thrilled with the garments we received. The girls here were true craftsmen and took so much pride in what they made for us-having 3-4 fittings. Flowers scattered on our made up beds were a lovely touch. Staff here were the best in Vietnam-the town is so relaxed in comparison to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. A nice change from the hussle and bussle of the bigger towns. Locals having a work party in the next building invited us in off the footpath and had us up dancing and singing and testing the local brew!!!! How friendly is this !! I'm still waiting for the pics if you read this
“Great Experience with a personal touch”
The staff at Thien Thanh were wonderful. We had booked for three nights and stayed four. The staff were extremely helpful about responding to all of our questions and arranging a driver to take us to My Son and Hue. The service that we experienced was much above anything that I ever experience in a North American hotel. Being a small hotel we got to know that staff quite well and they all came out and waved as we left -- it really felt more like we were visiting family than staying at a hotel. The location is good - every morning we ate on balcony overlooking a field and there were tons of birds around. We had to walk a little ways to get to old town but it was worth it to be in a little quieter area. The rooms were clean and comfortable - nothing fancy but perfect for what we wanted. The rooms were air conditioned -- a big plus in Vietnam!
“We'll be going back for sure”
A great little hotel with very friendly, helpful staff who did everything possible to help the stay more pleasant. They arranged taxis to the beach and even recommended a less toristy beach than Cu Dai. Don't miss An Bang beach with it's beachside restaurants annd bars. Sunbeds and shades free if you buy a meal at the restaurant. Excellent food and great value from about £3 incl a drink per person. Hotel within walking walking distance of Hoi An centre (15 mins) and surrounded by great tailors and spas.
“Enjoyed Thien Thanh Hotel”
The Expedia booking was effective and we were quickly checked in. We were offered the opportunity to inspect the room first but we took it sight unseen. Three flights of fairly steep stairs led us to a reasonable sized room with a large and modern bathroom, classic Asian antique furniture, a balcony overlooking the street and a bed that proved remakably comfortable. There was also an efficent air conditioner and flat screen TV. One morning the staff left only one towel and no toilet paper but this was quickly rectified. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the water spinach garden was a delight and there was also some interesting bird life. Staff organised a Hoi An Eco Tour for me that involved being picked up from another hotel where my brother-in-law was staying. After a few years of travelling, I vowed to stay in the most expensive hotels I could afford. But on this trip I elected for the 'boutique hotel' and we were very pleased with the Thien Thanh. A most enjoyable 3 night stay.
“Lovely Stay”
We booked for 3 nights and stayed 6. Friendly, helpful staff and a great clean place to stay. Pool, internet and a good breakfast. The nicest place I have ever stayed in Hoi An!
