“You get what you pay for, almost”
We needed a last-minute close-by getaway after T.S. Lee ruined our Gulf Coast plans. We decided on a weekend in Chattanooga, and this was the cheapest hotel of its kind.
First, as others have pointed out, it's almost impossible to find. It also is not at all convenient to the downtown 'Nooga area.
Second, forget about the "free" breakfast. It's free because it's almost non-existent: they seemed to be always running out of pretty much everything (well before the end of breakfast hours, too), both mornings we were there.
Last, I don't know what other reviewers were talking about - there were no cookies offered ever during our 3-day/2-night stay. We even inquired about it, and the desk clerk had to make a special batch just for us.
It does provide the basics - a well-maintained property, a clean and comfortable room with no issues, decent Internet/WiFi, a (very small!) pool. If that's all you care about, then this is a fine hotel. Just beware of the points I made above.
Area recommendations
Stay in downton Chattanooga instead. The higher room rates there are more than offset by the simple pleasure of being able to walk everywhere (as opposed to having to drive a number of miles both ways, and hunt for parking).
