Excellent central location. Hotel room clean and spacious and staff friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Only slight issue was shower refused to stay at 1 temperature - fluctuated lots. However as we only stayed for 1 night this wasn't a huge problem.
We were a small group of mates who were visiting bruges for beer and culture.
The hotel were not prejudicing like many hotels, and greeted us warmly throughout. They were very helpful with directions and recommendations of where to go.
The decor of the hotel is fab - modern and contemporary with good resources, such as a computer, small pool and gym.
Food is great in the morning in a charming dining room, and the room was spacious and very clean.
In the hotel were a selection of guests - families, couples and friends. It truly is suitable for all.
I fully recommend this for ANYONE - the 3 stars don't do it justice - it is better than many 4 and 5 star hotels I've been in.
Family-run hotel with a half-timbered Breton style façade, 300 metres from the new market square in central Bruges. Simple …More
Stayed here with young family for weekend break round Bruges. Superb hotel. All the staff we encountered were lovely and extremely helpful. Couldn't fault any of them. Would definitely go back. The hotel is conveniently placed and all the sights are within walking distance. The underground car park is very handy too. The kids made use of the swimming pool on the top floor and also had a go in the Gym. The ruins in the basement are nice to wander round too.
The one down-side was our room location. We were on Floor 7, directly underneath the Gym. At 6am on Sunday morning, a kind soul decided to go for a run on the treadmill; so for an hour, all we could hear in our room was thud, thud, thud, thud, thud....gave us a headache after 20mins!!! Not a major hassle though.
Still had a wonderful time and would recommend the hotel in a heartbeat. Go and stay, you won't be disappointed.
I stayed one night but could have stayed longer. The room was so beautiful and had a lovely canal view. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the station and is another five minutes from the main square. The hotel has a small pool and a comfy lounge and bar area. I would stay here again.
Eighteen of us descended on the hotel; each of us being treated as individuals by Reception. The rooms were great, very well appointed with extremely comfortable beds! Breakfast was a treat!
The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Bruges, going for walks or taking a bike ride - we did it all!
Really nice hitel, just a few hundred metres from Markt Square and round the corner from lots of restaurants.
All city attractions within walking distance.
One gripe is that there is limited parking space, that you need to book with the room, and it costs €15 a night to park.
No kettle in the room, so you have to get up and dressed in the morning before getting a cuppa!
Otherwise a really nice hotel.
The staff here are absolutely fantastic, and couldn't have provided a warmer or more professional welcome. The decor is really beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable (bed was amazing!), our only complaint was one threadbare towel but it was sorted very swiftly.
The location is brilliant - it's close to all the shops and restaurants, and only Euro7.50 from the station.
The breakfast was overpriced, but all food is quite pricey in Bruges anyway. It's at a nice relaxing time, anyway, finishing at 10:30am - perfect for a lazy weekend away!
