Eighteen of us descended on the hotel; each of us being treated as individuals by Reception. The rooms were great, very well appointed with extremely comfortable beds! Breakfast was a treat!
The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Bruges, going for walks or taking a bike ride - we did it all!
I stayed one night but could have stayed longer. The room was so beautiful and had a lovely canal view. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the station and is another five minutes from the main square. The hotel has a small pool and a comfy lounge and bar area. I would stay here again.
Staying in this hotel felt like we lived in history. The hotel staff are very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with everything. If you look for something modern, Brugges is a wrong city and this hotel is a wrong place. The good news is we went to Brugges for a real sense of history. Thus, this hotel is perfect.
We stayed here for 2 nights recently and I was more than pleased with everything. The staff were so, so friendly and helpful, even providing us with timetables for the trains and buses back to the airport. We, however, had booked a standard room to start with but upgraded to a superior room for an extra EUR20. Well worth it as what a difference between the two! We had our own walk-out onto veranda that overlooked a little cobbled street. The hotel is central to all the sights, it is tucked away off the main square, where there is a fab market every Saturday morning, and only a short walk from the train and bus station. The breakfast buffet was just gorgeous with croissants, pastries, breads, cereals, yogurts, juices and tea/coffee aswell as a hot breakfast if you so wanted. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in Bruges.

We were very happy with our experience. Small hotel with about 10 rooms, but there was a lift to the 3rd floor! Nice owner with whom we chatted quite a bit. Very clean and nice bathroom. Our room's view was of the beautiful guild houses across the street and church spire. Great simple breakfast, and hotel is around the corner from bike rentals and the main Markt square.

Booked this hotel for a four night stay commencing 8th Sept. and so glad we did. This is a charming
hotel situated on the t'zand square adjacent to a variety of other hotels and restaurants etc. It is
opposite one of the lifts that service the huge underground car park under the square. We received
a warm welcome from the reception staff. Our standard room was on the 5th floor with a rear view
over the rooftops of the spires and towers. The room was a very good size and well furnished so it made for a very comfortable stay. Although the hotel was busy there was no noise from either inside or outside the hotel so a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed was no problem. Would certainly stay her again.
Very close to everything. Breakfast is very good. They added new rooms in the back and it was like staying in a brand new hotel with an elegant living room and bar. Highly recommend it. Staff was very helpful. Try cuatra Mains right around the corner. Best restaurant walking distance.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a room in the old part of the building and it was lovely, with a vaulted ceiling. This was also very clean, even the old beams in the ceiling were dust free. The seating areas around the bar were gorgeous and so elegant, you felt as though you were in a palace.
The hotel itself was in an excellent location close to all the sights and shops.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again if visiting Bruges.
