Brugge is absolutely beautiful......the main city centre and surrounds are walkable. The restaurants are great. The city is a stunner. I did the Flanders battlefields tour with Last Post ceremony....a day trip to Ypres. A real eye opener. There is a canal tour....very interesting. The cathedrals are awesome. A must see city.
We had a two night midweek stay at the Navarra, taking advantage of the onsite parking which made for an easy journey door to door. Staff are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and well equipped, however I was worried when I saw earplugs at the side of the bed! They were needed as our room was at the front of the hotel and a little noisy late at night and early morning onwards. It didn't spoil our stay. The Navarra is perfectly situated for enjoying Bruge, a short stroll to the main square, highly recommended.
The Rosenburg is a charming hotel that overlooks the canals of Bruges. It has a quaint reception area, with a beautiful sunroom where the breakfast is served. There were 3 of us, and so we had a triple room. It was very spacious, and very clean. We had two bedrooms, with two separate doors that entered the bathroom which was nice. The staff were extremely professional and helpful to us. We had only one night at the hotel, but my son needed to use the internet the following day, which they completely accommodated.
We arrived in Bruges early evening, nothing was too much trouble, we were given somewhere safe to store our luggage while the owner took us to the storage units where our bikes were to be securely parked, we were given discount leaflets and a little information about where's best to eat and where to avoid, we'd had problems with one of the bikes enroute, (it was a Ducati) and they were happy to lend us tools to help fix it, the hotel was lovely, the people were very friendly, the food was excellent and everything was so clean, tidy and just so.. We have already told them we will be visiting again next year and may even stay for longer. Couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday.

Great hotel! The staff were very friendly and spoke english, the breakfast spread was excellent and had a large variety of food, and I was given a discount book at no charge for Bruges attractions. Would stay again!
