Close to food district

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Pros: Price was good Location was good
Cons: Atmosphere of hotel should be improved. Feels old and unrefreshed.
Location: Hondori is nearby, Sogo is nearby, can walk to A Bomb site and Peace memorial Park and Hiroshima Castle
The room was very tight for 3 adults. Fortunately we had only one big bag and 2 small ones. Hard to move around the room. Bathroom was good.

Meh.

Posted 09-Aug-2014
The bed was uncomfortable. It was near a decent shopping area but it was a bit of a walk from the train station. The room was decent. Plenty of amenities. Easy to hear our loud neighbors. The staff spoke some English. They were very friendly.

Not a nice hotel

Posted 05-Aug-2014
This hotel is ok for a back packer it smelled of smoke we asked for a non smoking room but it had an ash tray in it and the carpet was dirty, we planed to stay 2 nights but check out after 1. It was close to shops but that's it .

Good location in Hiroshima

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Hotel was easy to find and well located. The decor was a little dated, but the room was excellent. As with most Japanese hotels I have stayed in, the rooms are small if you are a 6'2" westerner. It was all fine though, and the staff were very helpful.

Stay in Hiroshima

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Nearby large, outdoor shopping strip. The staff was very helpful & met our specific requests.
Cons: It would be good to have WiFi access in my room instead of having to go down to lobby.
Location: Lots of great restaurants, only one block from large, outdoor shopping strip, subway and train entries nearby
This hotel had clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff. It was only one block from large, outdoor shopping strip. Subway and train stations nearby. Wifi access was available only in the lobby, not in rooms.

nice hotel close to tourist sights, food and shops

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: Location and friendly reception staff
Cons: the triple room is certainly not capable of housing 3 or more people with luggage.
Location: location is right were you need to be
we are a family of 4 (2 adults, 3yr old and 4mth old). booked a tripple room with a baby cot. got to hotel and the room was full with 3 single beds with very little room to move between them let alone room for suitcases plus we had 2 strollers. there certainly was no room for a baby cot! although the room was very squishy we were happy enough for our 1 night stay. the room would be an typical japaneese room size if just 2 single beds. in the end the 4mth old slept comfortably and safely in the bath! location was great a short walk for the Free Tourist Bus stop, a short walk from the A Bomb Dome and right in the middle of the main shopping street.

Great location but aging hotel

Central location, limited wifi, but great wired internet. The ceiling is really low in place but I am 6'4. Clean but aging hotel.

Great room near Nijo castle

Posted 11-Oct-2013
The room was bigger than I expected. Close to Nijo castle, just a walk across. Good value.
