The lobby of the hotel is run down so we wondered what the room would be like. Overall it was fine--we were in the 'new' building. The carpet to the room and in it was slightly marked but otherwise the cleanliness was good. The location next to the railway line was alright for us but might not suit people who are bothered by low-level train noise or who don't like walking away from main streets. The breakfast which was included in the price was adequate but not extensive. We would look for somewhere else to stay if visiting Hiroshima again but would still consider Hiroshima Intelligent Hotel as it was reasonably good value.
Easy to find from Hiroshima station. Staff friendly. Went on the free tour. Was amazing. Walking around peace park with our guide who was extremely knowledgable about every item inside that park. Amazing room. Clean. Other people staying in hostel friendly.
This hotel is located close to Hiroshima station. The rooms are tiny very tiny but they are exceptionally clean. It's the cleanest hotel we stayed at during our vacation around Japan. Breakfast included a Japanese style buffet and throughout the day drinks were complimentary. The free laundry use was a huge perk as well.
The only downside is the wifi can only be access in the lobby.
Short walk from station. Hotel was fine. Economy room was small as expected but well appointed. Be prepared for a hard bed, but hey, no real biggie. A supermarket is nearby as are a heap of restaurants around the block. The front desk will provide you with a map of restaurants etc. We tried the closest Okonomayaki restaurant closest to the hotel. Yum and a lot of fun as well.
