Good location to major bus lines and also walking distance to Subway, banks, grocery store, movie theater, restaurants. 75 cent bus ride to Old San Juan for sightseeing and access to the ferry to Bacardi distillery and PR stadium at Hato Rey. Luggage storage available. 3 nice patios too. Wifi there too. A typical hostel...not deluxe but OK.
You are greeted to warm baked chocolate chip cookies. Courtney recommended these 2 amazing restaurants, Bebos Cafe which is right around the corner from the hotel, and Pamela's which is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. The nightlife area is another 15 minutes around the corner. The location was perfect. Rent a car, everything is 30 minutes away except for the rainforest which was about 40-45 minutes. There is also a 24hour supermarket right across the street so if you forget anything, just walk across. Starbucks is in the plaza next to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is worth the money as well as the room service breakfast, more than enough food!! They partner with another hotel which has direct beach access (10 minute drive from the hotel); you receive chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc., they also have water activities like jet skiing, windsurfing, etc. (of course, they cost). Overall a great experience for a birthday vacation with a couple of friends!!!
Rustic architecture, not too far from beach, and conveniently next to Supermax. Staff is friendly, but limited in number, worn out furniture, actual brass room key for your room and hotel. Appropriate for one adult who is not squeamish.

Customer service was exceptional! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and Natalia went above and beyond to help schedule our trips. She was even working for us when she wasn't working at the hotel! The free breakfast is delicious and cooked to order. The bedding is like a cloud. I can't say enough good things about the place! Highly highly recommend!
I didn't expect such a nice place for it's category.
I had a coffee machine (with the best PR coffee) in the room. The breakfast was also very good, and it was located on the top floor. Amazing panoramic view :-)
The recepcionist, I met first was super friendly (like anyone else), gave ideas, where and how to go, which beach is the nicest, what's going on in SJ, where to get local food, groceries, etc.
They cleaned the room/bathroom completely- every single day (stayed 5 nights).
Thank you guys, it was my pleasure to stay with you.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and look forward to our next visit! The hotel was recently updated and the decor was modern and sleek. Rooms are very clean and furnished with modern furniture, LCD satellite TV, A/C, ceiling fan, laminate flooring, modern linens and bathroom has a nice-sized shower. There is valet parking for a nominal fee. On the second floor, there is a great terrace, which is where the simple continental breakfast is served daily. There is no elevator and we didn't see any rooms on the ground floor, so you may want to consider that if you have mobility issues. The only downside to the rooms is there are no chest of drawers or dressers, only floating shelves, so you either have to place your clothes on the open shelves or leave them in your suitcase. Our room had some hangars near the door. Also, there is no seating other than the bed, which was fine with us since we were only in our room to sleep. I had no complaints whatsoever, the staff was very friendly, and Casa Condado was a great find in Condado! Also, the Metro Bus to Old San Juan is a block away and only 75 cents!
We stayed at Wind Chimes after we returned from a cruise. I really loved the look and feel of the hotel with each room having a separate entrance off the lush courtyard. The little pool was a great addition though it closed at 6pm which I thought was a little too early. I would have like to go for a swim closer to 9pm just before turning in. The room was comfortable and we had control over our own air conditioner. There was a bar in the back of the courtyard that was supposed to be open everyday however it didn't open our first night there. We are still not really sure why. This hotel was conveniently really close to the beach (1 small block). It was a little out of the way for restaurants, about a 10-15 minute walk. We would recommend this hotel and if I ever venture back to San Juan it will be where I stay again.
Clean and nice hotel. Great nice staff esp. Margarita she told me about everything to do down there and called and set up all the tours I was interested in. 24 hour so you can check in late at night which was convenient for me since my flight landed around 9 pm. And convenient when you want to stay out late drinking or whatever. Loved it there. Oh and bed was very comfortable so that's a plus. The double value rooms are a little small but just perfect for me and my girlfriend. Nice clean bathroom and shower was nice because it also had a jacuzzi feature if you wanted to take a bath. Also close to the beach and 24/7 walgreens. Great hotel.

The Casa Del Caribe may be a little older and not updated but the room was clean and eddy thing worked as it was supposed to. Outside was a nice little place to congregate after a late night, the Mosquitos weren't nearly as bad as some reviewers had stated. The breakfast was mostly pastries and cereal but it was consistent. There were several beaches within walking distance, and plenty of restaurants that were good nearby. I would definitely stay here again!
