My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were warmly welcomed, had a spacious traditional Japanese room, and loved every minute we spent in the onsen. The routines of the hot springs were carefully explained to us, and we each felt very comfortable in our gender-segregated baths. There was a plentiful Japanese breakfast - the grilled fish were especially delicious. The town of Ito was a delight to explore, and the cherry blossoms along the river were incredibly beautiful. Overall, a wonderful experience!
"Perfect combination of Japanese Ryokan and Western"
This hotel has perfect position facing Pacific Ocean. Included dinner and breakfast are fantastic. If the in room outdoor onsen is not enough, the top floor private family onsen will make you happy. We had great time in this hotel and my son was not willing to go next day.

Good way to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. Sleep on the floor with tatami mats and enjoy a traditional Japanese hot springs bath. Wear a Japanese yukata kimono to relax and enjoy. Eat the traditional Japanese breakfast for a small fee. It is worth it and will fill you up until lunch. There is a 15 minute walk to the train station. It is a major train station where the express trains all stop which is great. Please identify the train station for visitors as I got off at Ito station which was several train stations away and ran up my taxi bill. I was able to explore the Izu Peninsula due to the convenience of the location. The staff was very helpful in identifying locations to visit and even provided transportation to close by areas.
