“A Great Little Motel”

This is a great motel. It is close to the Smokey Mountain Center For the Performing Arts and other area attractions. The only problem is no milk on the breakfast menu. That is a very small thing. I will stay here again.

“Centrally Located....”

Clean hotel, centrally located and had a nice playground for the kids. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

We have stayed in motels or hotels more than 50 nights per year the past few years and the hospitality, cleanliness and comfortable beds of the Carolina exceeded expectations and were equal to many locations with rates much higher. The staff and owners clearly are paying attention to details often overlooked even by the better franchise and chain lodging facilities. We highly recommend and will not look elsewhere the next time we are in or near Franklin. Thank you, Carolina Motel, for making our visit so pleasant!

Owners were extremely accomodating and all of staff was very friendly. We had a smoking room but you couldn't even tell it had been smoked in. Very clean and great location.

“A "Gem" of a Find”

We were very pleased with the hotel and location. The manager was extremely helpful in directing us to the areas we wanted to visit. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again!

“Franklin NC”

Carolina Motel is a simple, small, well-run motel in the scenic Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. It is an excellent, reasonably priced choice. There is a pool and a playground for the kids. The rooms have cable TV and free wi-fi. There is a continental breakfast served in the lobby. It is not fancy or luxurious, but for our family it is just right.

“The perfect place to stay!”

The motel was better than we expected. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, but also the lobby and grounds. Everyone was very friendly and gave suggestions on what to see in the area. Imagine, real flowers in the bathroom!!!

“One of Franklin's BEST”

Carolina Hotel is one of the better motels in Franklin. Not a fancy trendy place, but a clean and very well maintained place. Grounds tidy and nice. Rooms clean and well maintained. I would reccomend this place with confidence.

“Pretty Good Value”

The motel accepts dogs, a big plus. It was centrally located to see the area and for rafting trips. The only thing was the bed was too soft. Next time I'll bring my own back board.

“IT's FINE in CAROLINA”

Very nice place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms exceptionally clean and nice. Continental Breakfast better than most. Would recommend. Local features nice.... Greenway Trail by the Little TN River made a nice walk in the late afternoon. Little know treasure, Perry's Water Gardens, filled with beautiful lotus plants and water lilies only 20 minutes away. Beautiful !!!
