The 'hotel' is a building site. No bar, no restaurant and very different to the photos displayed on the website. Very very disappointed that we were not informed of these changes on booking or on check in.

Hotel was great we stayed in a non refurbished room and when we first went in we thought it was a refurbushed room sothe quality was fab. Only bad side was being woken up by the builders at 8.30 but we did expect them to start work early and we just left the hotel earlier so wasnt a real problem.

Some minor problems with booking - had reserved twin room for me and my son on Expedia. Hotel had reserved us a single. The hotel was full so no other rooms available. Staff on reception were great however - they arranged for a small bed to be put into the room. Clearly hotel is being renovated - we weren't there during the day so can't comment on noise. Overnight no noise from workmen, only the rather rude other guests who think it's ok to stumble drunkenly and loudly into their rooms at 1 in the morning.

Hotel i dårlig stand, som var under restaurering. Det vidste vi ikke på forhånd. Uprofessionelt personale. Forkert indtjekning og to gange på en weekend blev vores nøglekort spærret. Vinduerne på værelserne kunne ikke lukkes og der var meget støj fra gaden

Park Inn Watford / new Management -> worse service

Pros: Am SA fielen die Server aus... Abends ging das WLAN wieder, aber mein Handy hatte irgendwie keinen Zugriff. Die Blonde an der Rezep kümmerte sich.
Cons: Ja, dieses Hotel einstampfen. Oder komplett neues Management.
Location: Bei der Watford Junction, Watford, Hertfordshire Watford ist ein super kleines Dorf - Mit der Bahn nach London-20Min.
Wir (2 Leute) waren 5 Tage in diesem Hotel. Die letzten Jahre war ich auch da und machte gute Erfahrungen. Aber das Management wechselte im letzten halben Jahr und das Hotel verwandelte sich von GUT in GROTTIG SCHLECHT... Hier mal ein paar Punkte : Der Safe ging nicht. Der "Facility Manager" war nicht fähig das Problem zu lösen (aber er war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - lediglich unfähig) und meinte, da es ein FR ist, sollten wir doch bis MO warten, dann ist sein Chef da, der macht das dann. Wir könnten aber das Zimmer wechseln. Wir verneinten. Wir hatten vor 2J auch ein SafeProblem und das wurde gelöst am selben Abend ! Aber das war auch das alte Management und die alte Belegschaft. Unser Zimmer war im 2. Stock und auf dem Vordach waren zigHundert (!) Zigarettenkippen. Wir beschwerten uns und die meinten, die machen was. Ist natürlich nichts passiert ! Innerhalb 5 Tagen. Armutszeugnis. Zum Thema Frühstück. Nur noch die Häfte des Angebots vom Vorjahr - als Bsp : eine Sorte Joghurt, EINE Sorte Marmelade. Bis 10h is Frühstück, um 10h02 wurden wir gefragt, ob sie nun abräumen können. Und den stolzen Preis von 12,50GBP haben sie aber behalten. Dann sind da dauernd "Schlipsträger" herumgelaufen und haben sich über das neue Management unterhalten. Auch im Frühstücksraum ist dauernd jemand (nicht Gäste) herumgewuselt. Das Positive am Hotel? Die freundliche Blonde an der Rezeption - die einzig Fähige...

Got our room for cheap so not sure what the usual price would be, but bed and breakfast was excellent and have absolutely no complaints. Literally just round the corner from the train station as well which was handy.

Clean and some good points

The room was clean and bed really comfortable. Bathroom sparkling and towels fluffy. The window catch didn't work and the window stayed open all night onto a dual carriageway. It was freezing but at least I could use the quilt off spare bed. Dinner was ok but quite expensive. I was offered a paper but it wasn't delivered and when I mentioned it at check out the receptionist didn't even answer me
