Convenient to Stanmore Hospital

Posted 14-Jun-2015
Pros: Being convenient to Stanmore Hospital.
Cons: Cleaniness
Good sized room disappointed with bathroom the shower curtain smelled of mould and was one of the ones that sucked into the bath when you had a shower , mostly had baths because of this, there was also mould around the bath and tiles. We never had any milk left in our room .

Nice enough

Posted 28-May-2015
Room was clean and comfortable, however walls are very thin and every noise could be heard. Close to Harry Potter world which was the reason for our visit. Let down by spa area as a little dirty and steam room wasn't working. Good but could be better.

Nice hotel, handy for Harry Potter Studio Tour

Posted 15-Apr-2015
We stayed here when we went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and location was excellent for this. Free parking at hotel and only about 5 miles from Tour. Almost handy to get into London - few miles to Watford Junction Station (£5/day parking) and train to London Euston. Staff at hotel were excellent and all very friendly. Family room was good size and comfortable. A little noisy as could hear people walking over head. Also strange set up as shower room didn't have door so a bit awkward for the three of us as no privacy.

We were surprised to get a rather sparsely furnished extra room - so in effect a suite, which was very nice! The bed and bathroom were excellent.....

Clean Hotel, good location

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: The bar was relaxed and welcoming. There was a swimming pool and although I did not use the restaurant, it was in a pleasant area.
Cons: Check in facilities. I booked and paid through Expedia, but the hotel staff did not at first realise and asked how I was going to pay.
Location: This hotel is within a couple of minutes walk from a McDonalds (always good with the children) and on the road towards Harrow. Very accessible route.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I had to come back to reception to check where to go as I had been given wrong instructions but soon resolved. The room was comfortable and clean and temperature set just right. Shower facilities good. I liked the fact that there was a swimming pool and health club if you wanted to make use of them.

Who answers the phone???

Posted 06-Mar-2015 on Hotels
I stayed away for 2 nights with work....room was nice enough but not worth the upgrade and no-one appears to work on the phone for room service!! One night I tried for ten minutes and the other I walked down and place the order myself but was still charged a tray charge!!Staff friendly enough but still a bit of a let-down.
