“Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff, Very Satisfied”

I stayed in this hotel as I attended a Wedding locally, it was a convenient hotel to the high street (10 min walk) and right next to a friendly pub and Watford Junction train station (with many cabs outside) All the staff were extremely friendly, we had our 2 yr old daughter with us and and it catered for all our needs. The room & bathroom was lovely and clean, and very comfortable. Would definately stay again.

I arrived late, the night porter showed me exactly where to park, gave every assistance. Room very clean All facilities Excellent. Breakfast well cooked and hot. Only criticism is ran out of knives, but when I asked one immediately provided..

“Not so good this time”

Have stayed here several times before, but this time wasn't so good. A technical problem with the reservation system meant that it took 10 minutes to check in, even though there was only one person in front of me. Stayed in a room fitted for the disabled, but works to the bathroom (which was clean enough) had left an unpleasant adhesive smell, which didn't clear. Left very early, but there wasn't anyone around at reception.

the hotel is well managed with very friendly courtest staff. food is good and inexpensive.location great to watford station but surrounding area not too friendly room well apointed but a bit small ok for a short stay but my 4 days the room was too small lacked cloth hangers and space for travel cases travel by car is a problem in that you have to pay for parking your car in very limited car park

“Good Business Hotel”

Came from Canada for a funeral, stayed for a week with children, had a room with a sofa bed, not alot of space and no place for clothes or luggage. ie. dresser or closet. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. All staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good selection. Would be great for a business trip, but not for a lengthy stay with children.

First time of using this hotel and would definitely go back. We stayed here for our trip to into London as it is only 2 minutes from Watford Junction. Although the hotel is by the train station you don't hear the trains. Check in was easy. Staff were very pleasant. It's very clean which is always a good sign. Breakfast is included in the price. On offer for breakfast was bacon, scrambled egg, various cereals, toast, croissants, fruit and yoghurts. Tea, Coffee, apple juice and orange juice. It's all help yourself which suits my family.

Perfectly happy with this hotel. It was a short walk from Watford Junction and ideal for our needs. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I travel quite a bit and I think the staff at the Holiday inn were the most pleasant i have comes across. Rooms were spacious and spotless and the breakfast quite sufficient to set you up for the day. Only one small moan, I had to pay a thirty pound deposit which i got returned at checkout. I had paid in full on booking with Expedia. I was unaware of this prior to travel. Other than this I had no complaints.
