The accommodation was clean and practical. The main disappointment was the bathroom which had cracked and wobbly tiles to walk on and neither the bath or sink had plugs that fitted properly so it was difficult to have either a bath or wash in the sink without the water draining away. The rest of the room was clean and functional.

We have stayed here a few times and found the bed and room to be comfy and although at motorway service have had a good night sleep free parking is included

Bathroom wasn’t clean!!!! Dirty toilet it wasn’t flashed probably by the previous occupier! Housekeepers should be more attentive to this stuff.

It was a really comfortable bed. Thankfully as my visit was the end of February there was a heater in the room (there was also a fan). The room was quiet, which was surprising as it's at a Services. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When my hairdryer didn't work they quickly replaced it. The building is somewhat dated. As it's at the Services there were plenty of places to get food. I'd definitely stay there again.

When we got to our room there was a terrible smell. I reported it to reception and the guy there was very helpful and apologetic, moved us to another room very quickly. It ended up being a really nice stay at the hotel.

Efficient service with a smile
Service was amazing. Because our son was going to play in a concert, we requested an iron and board. They brought it to our room first thing in the morning. And the guy who made a note of the request the night before could not have been friendlier.

The staff were wonderful and very kind. But the rooms were dirty and the bathroom smelled horrendous - like wet towels and mold that had festered for ages. The beds were at least clean but not the most comfy. Good for the price but only if you won’t be in the room for much of your stay.

Don't do it... pay extra & go somewhere else!
Absolutely filthy and run down, window sill covered in mildew, bathroom fan so clogged with dirt it didn't work and the Electric fire started smoking when we switched it on, reported it to woman on reception who moved us.... but then still charged us £10 for an hour later checkout... would most definitely NOT recommend!

Room in need of a bit of a work (windows don’t close properly, chips out of bath) but clean and tidy. Bed lovely and soft and had a great sleep.

Very limited bedding, pillows were like tea bags. Expensive if you take dogs. Booking through Expedia cost us over £20 more than is we had booked direct

Bad pillows but friendly staff
The hotel was very basic but did just fine for one night. We were only given one pillow each which was flat and lumpy so we asked at reception for more pillows but we’re told there were none. Ended up having to use towels underneath and my cardigan to feel comfortable😂check in and parking were great though and the staff were so friendly.

Very convenient, as part of the services complex. Room was spacious and clean. A bit noisy as the services car park is right there, but bed was comfy.

It was fine for an overnight stay. Could do with a bit of updating, carpet’s, windows but it was fine for 1 night. Convenient for motorway and services next door.

Few problems on arrival. Stay only if desperate
Room dirty, mould around mirror and sink tiles in bathroom, paint on window mouldy, pillows, towels and cups were short for our number Shower was Luke warm and not adjustable, bathroom fan filthy and didn’t work correctly Only 2 tea bags supplied for 3 people We originally asked for room with bath due to medical issues was told that was ok but when arrived asked if we had one and was told they don’t do baths in the hotel Definitely low standard Ok as stop over if desperate but plenty better around for price
