“Not 3 star! Don't bother!”
To sum up. These apartments are basic and cheap. That's it. I will never stay there again. The place was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke everywhere. There were loads of teenagers staying there. The room itself is one of the worst I've stayed in. No proper shower, stained carpets. Not three star at all. You're in the modern part of Montpellier too which has absolutely no charm at all. I recommend staying in the old city centre where the real charm is. We never needed our kitchen as all restaurants were cheap and good.
“So So”
Very basic hotel and room. Had the feel of government housing. Room smelled horrible, had to keep windows open all night. Bathroom had shower/tub but a glass door that covered maybe 1 foot of the tub, so shower was not an option. Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and dishes ect. but no dishsoap, towels, paper towels. Had to take garbage out in the morning.
“Basic aparthotel but great location.”
This is a good place to stay if you are looking for a self catering apatment with no frills at a very reasonable price. I like the facility of making a coffee when I want to. There is a restaurant but no one seemed to use it. The pool is small but nice if you want to cool down.A small supermarket 8 mins walk away. Tram to Historic centre right outside but you can take a pleasant walk in about 15 minutes. Restaurants and bar 10 mins away. Nice view of the river and we had a balcony which was small but nice. Quite a busy street so expect traffic noise. Parking is available depending on the amount of guests - if full it is almost impossible to park in this area though there are some meters which are quite expensive so try to reserve a parking place with the hotel. Also have to leave a refundable deposit as they check your room as you check out for any damage and to see the kitchen is clean but we had no problem with this. They say they are NOT a hotel so therefore only provide the rooms and basics - no bed changeing of linen or towels or extra loo roll once the one they provide has gone! All in all we had a pleasant stay here.
“Good place to stay”
We had paid a very low price for 2 studios at this Residence so we were not sure what to expect. In fact it was fine. The place was clean, the accomodation was mostly fine, the staff helpful, and the pool was good. The tram to town was very good. Our only reservation was that one of the studios had a fold out bed which had only a thin mattress and was rather uncomfortable. The same studio faced the road and was rather noisy. The other studio was very quiet and the (proper) bed very comfortable. It would appear that these studios came in pairs, with one being usable as a sitting area (the fold out bed one) and the other as a proper bedroom.
“resort comfort close to city center”
Hotel located right on the tram line making transportation very convenient. Receptionist was extremely helpful. Pool on roof was great, nothing special, but great. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Wi-fi worked only in the hallways, which was a little stressful, but overall provided a quality connection. I very much recommend this hotel.
“Could try harder”
This is a great location, with a tram stop outside the hotel door, however if I had paid full price for this room, I would have been even less than impressed. Already picked up on the "inappropriate humour" from the English receptionist from another review, which was just annoying. The rooms were OK, but not great - the fold down bed just came with a couple of blankets, and there were clearly holes in the bath that had been plugged. However what really bugged me was the hot water running out after 1 bath, leaving me with two disgruntled, unwashed children! In response to my complaint they said "they'll make a note of it!!! Then asked me to fill in a customer satisfaction questionnaire! Won't go back - there is a nicer looking, similar looking deal just across the road...
A EVITER ABSOLUMENT!
