“Great service, good deal for the money.”

Very kind staff who went above and beyond in their customer service. Very close to bus station and about a 10-15 minute cab ride to airport. Hotel is much like a hostel, but it is clean and convenient and very inexpensive.

good location, immediate surrounding streets not asthetically pleasing but still safe.

“Good basic hotel”

This hotel was what I expected for the price. It was in a good location relatively close to the main attractions, restaurants and bars. I only stayed one night but it was fine for me. The hotel was clean enough but did have mould in the bathroom. Other than that a good basic hotel.

“Hotel Mirabello Heraklion: keep away from there!”

Aweful. Very hard to park a car, unkind staff, very dirty room, with a very very dirty shower (I didn't attempt to wash there inside!). Stay away from Mirabello, it's better to look for a private room rent.

Area recommendations
Heraklion is a good place to land and take off. Immediately after, please go elsewhere, Crete is really much more than Heraklion.
