“Outstanding”

This beautiful hotel represents excellent value for money. The staff at reception were particularly attentive and helpful and the buffet breakfast was magnificent.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel is very nice, very american style hotel. Is well located, just 5K from Knosos and a few blocks from the city center and the market (witch you should go) If looking for something more traditional, defenetly, must stay out of Iraklio at all. A greta choice will be in Hania.

“The rooms are ok, the staff and location is great.”

“Would Definately go back!”

Galaxy is a great Hotel, it is clean and modern and staff is very nice and helpful. It is a bit of a walk from city center, but for the comfort and cleanliness it is worth it.

When to go

Don't go to Crete on a Sunday cause everything is closed! We went in September and the weather was still hot and amazing.

“Great hotel”

This hotel was super comfortable, clean, and overall very nice. The staff was extremely helpful with directions to the city center and Knossos. The breakfast was delicious and they offered a great variety of foods that changed a bit every day. We really enjoyed the pool area, it was beautiful and not very busy. This hotel is not in the city center, but a 10-15 minute walk away. We did not find this to be a problem, especially considering how nice the hotel was. Overall it is a very nice place to stay!

“Great Hotel, Several Blocks from City Center”

This was a great hotel -- nice room, swimming pool, and restaurant. The only problem was that it is several blocks from any of the tourist sites in town.
