“Don't Book”

The Despo Hotel was a very run down place, right next to a main road. They offered us a basement room with a water leak. Then we got moved to the sister hotel to Kalia Beach much better. The Despo is a 20 minute walk to the beach across a busy main road.

“Cost performance is good”

This hotel is located in Gouves on a side road. Hotel charge includes 3 means (if you ask, they will prepared lunch boxes, too) and pool side snacks and unlimited no-brand wine/beer, etc. (I did not try pool side snacks/drinks) Foods at the tavern on site were decent with drinks. (Do not expect any fabuous feast.) Room is simply basic. If you need safe, you can pay for the key. If you need TV(only local programs), or refregirator, ask front, if any is available. No hair dryer? Ask front to borrow. Towels are like after hundreds times washes. You may ask for Bath mat, too, if they have. Hotel offers bus to the local beach at 10am and pick you up at 2pm to come back (though you can just walk for 10 minutes). If you like to stay at one place and spend entire days in the sun without worring about meals, then, perfect.

“Mitteleuropäisches Einerlei”

Die Lage unseres Hotels war im Großen und Ganzen ok, eben wie von Ihnen beschrieben. Leider gänzlich unzufrieden waren wir mit dem Essen, es war mitteleuropäisches Einerlei (Schweinebraten ? In Griechenland ???), war die typische Verpflegung eines Hotels, das seine besten Jahre wohl hinter sich hatte und ließ nichts von der berühmten griechischen Gastlichkeit spüren. Wir wichen daher auf Tavernen unterwegs aus und verzichteten auf "All Inclusive" (auch die Poolbar war lieblos, sowohl was die Atmosphäre, als auch die Getränke betraf). Sehr freundlich waren die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption.

“Beaucoup de promesses et que de déceptions”

L'accueil fût sympathique mais la chambre 108 fût terrible.tout comme les chambres 100 en général, nous pensons. Situé dans le vieux batiment, sans possibilité de clim, nous disposions d'une terrasse faisant face à un mur de 3 m de haut. 2 lits simples avec matelas à ressorts (facile à identifiés). Cuves de reception d'eau sous un tapis en plastique au milieu de la chambre qui donne l'impression que l'on se douche dans la chambre et cela de 6h30 à 9h du matin. La piscine est très bien mais fae à la route. Situé au bord de l'ancienne route ou la circulation rend le quartier dangereux surtout pour aller à la plage à pied. Pas très près de la plage!

“Un peu déçu ...”

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec TV et Clim, et nous avons eu une chambre sans TV ni Clim et au sous-sol.

Hotel trés propre et trés bien entretenu personnel trés agréable et repas correct en gros aucun soucis hormis celui qu'ils ne parlent que l'anglais je ne vois rien d'autre a ajouter.
