This hotel scores highest for value for money. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though I'd have preferred sheets and blankets to the duvet. The en suite was clean and had a nice quality loo, basin and shower. However, the shower room was minute. The shower cubicle was a bit on the small side but the shower itself made up for any failings. The water pressure was excellent, the water temperature was perfect and the shower head was a good large size.
Despite being right next to the railway, I was not disturbed by the trains.
The cooked breakfast was good. The cold options were disappointing. The yoghurt was unbelievably tasteless - it could have been water thickened with cornflour! The coffee was fine but I'd have liked the option of artificial sweetener.
The staff were very friendly.
I give the hotel the highest rating because it's such good value for money.
The room was clean and comfortable, and even though it faced onto the street it wasn't noisy and I had a good night's sleep. It was really good value for money, and should I need to I will certainly stay there again.
We chose the Rowbarge, due it it's closeness to Pirbright barracks, where our grandson
Was training, lovely hotel small, & friendly free parking, wi if was free, but could only
Get on in the bar area, which was disappointing as you could not hear on FaceTime
Due to the noise, xx lovely breakfast but I thought it was a bit expensive xxx
Overhaul a great stay
Very nice hotel, modern decor, beautiful grounds, the breakfast Buffett was very acceptable and very nice. Room service was very good and food was resteraunt standard! The staff was very nice, helpful and pleasant.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.
This pub has about 15 rooms above the main bars and a further 4 in a seperate building. We stayed in the main building. The room was fine with all the usual facillities and for the price was exactly what we wanted; a bed close by following a long wedding day. The only gripe was that the room was fairly hot, and opening windows made it too noisy to sleep as the air conditioning unit were very close by. Not a problem exclusive to this place! Over all it does exactly what it says on the tin. The staff were very flriendly, check in and out times are flexible, the breakfast was fine, and it served out purpose very well.
We booked a family room, we have three kids aged 3, 8 and 10. The family room would have been ok for us even though it technically only sleeps 4 (double + 2 single beds) as our three year old has got used to sleeping on the floor / sofa / whatever's available during our travels but the staff decided to offer us an extra room at no extra charge. This was a fantastic upgrade and meant we had two spacious rooms to enjoy. I was also impressed by the rooms in general, they'd been modernized and felt clean. We limited ourselves to the buffet rather than the full breakfast, but the food all looked good. Very happy.
lovely hotel set in it's own grounds had a great relaxing time with partner,we would highly recommend hotel this hotel only 20 min drive to Guildford which is also a nice day out-we will be staying in this hotel next time were in the area.
