“Wonderful stay in every respect.”

I have rarely stayed in a hotel where I have felt so relaxed and at home. Every level of staff displayed thorough training, professional pride and superb customer care. We will not hesitate to return to this hotel.

“Good service and nice hotel”

This was a good clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were right up to the standard of this chain of hotels. Dining facilities were ok for breakfast and looked ok for dinner, I only had breakfast there. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

“Nice hotel, but exceptional staff.”

The staff were very accommodating. The room was quite big, particularly by London standards, and quite convenient to the Harry Potter movie set. Getting in and out of London can be a bit pricey as it is an 8 British Pound taxi from the train station, but it was a nice stay for our Harry Potter visit.

Clean, quiet and convenient location near the motorway. Good value for money.

“Average hotel”

Location is next to M1 so convenient for an overnight stop over but wouldn't recommend this as a multi day stay hotel.

“Cheap, clean but in need of a refit.”

The hotel was basic, but comfortable. The rooms however were definitely getting tired, particularly the bathrooms. Everything was clean, but worn. Wi-fi was an extra cost, which is a bit ridiculous in 2012.

“Clean and reflatively comfortable hotel. No aircon”

Hotel is showing it's age, but I would stay there again if I ever need to be in Hemel. The only downside was the the Aircon (which was the only reason I chose the hotel) was switched off in the rooms. This could be policy or the receptionist seemed to think it was a problem. If you need aircon, then check with the hotel first before booking.

“unimpressed from yorkshire”

Unfortunately this was a sad experience. Single mum of 3 children the room was a bargain but the shower would not turn off and the sheets were very stiff and uncomfortable. This is the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in with poor reception response and gangs of drunk youths running the corridors until well past midnight and market traders exchanging stock outside...yes really. Its only saving grace is the outstanding breakfast and swimming pool which was in my kids words...."awesome".
