Having such a nice restaurant by the lake was a an excellent surprise food and service were great. Totally worth the time spent at The Ridge.

Great Hotel! We walked around the lake and we went to the Marina for dinner. It was delicious! We had a concert at the Anderson Music Hall. After the concert, we drove to the hotel. We really loved it! It was convenient, but just enough, so it was quiet and all by myself.

The property was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is that we were on the 1st. floor and we could hear everything going on up above us. Oh and I did pay extra for lake side and the view was not very good.

This is quite beautiful resort. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean. Everything smelled good. Beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our visit there . We will be back!

The Ridges is a beautiful lakeside mountain resort with good restaurants and amenities. Near many mountain activities.

Resort and other fees
Shouldnt be charged $25 resort fee. No smores, no apple cidar in lobby, phones in room dont work. Not sure what a resort fee was for ontop of $5.00 daily hotel fee. That i wasnt told about till i got my receipt emailed to me.. No breakfast of any kind in hotel. Hotels need to stop nickle and diming people. If your gonna charge a resort fee have amenities like breakfast. Staff was nice, room was nice, but wanna know why charged those fees for Nothing.

Thank you for your feedback. We do offer daily breakfast over at The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen (separate charge). The 5 daily fee is imposed by the state of Georgia. Under certain weather conditions, we cannot provide smores, as this is an outside activity. Thank you for your generous comment about the staff and room conditions. We hope to see you again in the future.

The property could be very nice. We had 3 rooms in the first 10 hours. The first one - tv didn't work, 2nd reeked of cologne and bathroom smelled horrible. The 3rd one the bathroom was not clean at all... hair all over the floor and the tub would not drain. If the place was cleaner and the carpet was taken out it would be good. They had alot of nice assets. Coffee, etc all day. Smores at the fire pit. And a restaurant was available on premises. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Just needs a better cleaning service and upgrade carpets. They are pet friendly so it smelled like dogs a bit.

The staff and the Hotel Manager went above and beyond what we expected. We were on our honeymoon and we are going back for more trips since the staff and the Hotel Manager were wonderful to us. They treated us like family. The views are wonderful. It is a wonderful place to stay for any occasion. We are still talking about it since we are home now how wonderful it was and can't wait to go back. Thank you staff and the Hotel Manager for everything y'all have done for us we look forward for coming again and again. Thank you, Justin and Amanda Kuttler. Rooms Need Update and Cleaned Properly
My family was excited to stay at the resort for Christmas. Once we checked in we was extremely disappointed the room was disgusting, stained carpet in several places, dirty toilet and an outdated room. I wanted to check out but I knew I wouldn’t get a refund due to booking with a third party, and possibly not be able to find other accommodations being it was the holiday. So I went to Walmart got cleaning supplies and cleaned the room so we would be comfortable. Needless to say we will never stay at this property again, it definitely was not a resort.

Christmas dream
This resort is beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice the location is amazing the view if the lake and mountains is breathtaking super close to hikes waterfalls n North Carolina The staff Nicole Cierra n garret are the most attentive caring costumer service this resort feels like home

This property is a favorite get away for us. The nature is gorgeous. It is always decorated seasonally. Employees are helpful and friendly.

Amazing resort
This resort is very clean ! It was decorated beautifully for Christmas! The hot cider and cookie was amazing! We love to stay here as it is pet friendly, very clean and the staff are amazing@

The place was amazing especially at the time of year we visited (Nov.) Great hiking close to the resort, s’mores every night made available at the outside pit. And to top it off they are pet friendly!
