Great customer service.
The hotel is a little dated but I give it too scores for the staff. The incredibly kind woman working the front during the day and the interesting, engaging gentleman working the night. They both were excellent at customer service, finding ways to accommodate us. I found them to be the best part of our stay. The room is nice enough. Bathroom a bit small. Breakfast is amazing and the chef was so kind. Lovely people.

Room was very small for a family room but beds comfortable. Corridors could do with being painted as very worn. Public areas much better. Breakfast was lovely with great choice of food.

The room had enough space for parents and a child. We brought a travel bed with us, and with the current set-up of the room we could probably have had room for a second travel bed if they had removed a 3rd bed in the room. No AC in our room, which is probably the biggest drawback. A swimming pool is available in the basement. The depths range from 1.20m to 1.80m. Breakfast was nice. Easy access to Wi-Fi with good coverage.

The hotel is nice enough. A little dated but otherwise good. The breakfast is nice. The pool is cold and there is no way for them to heat it. That was a let down. My husband stayed here on his own last month and we came as a family this month. Both times for business. The lady at the front desk was very sweet. A wonderful conceirage. I wish I had her name to give her proper credit but next time we go I will ask her name. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms are tiny! Good overall.

Nice Hotel but a little out of town. The Room needed air conditioning as it was hot during the day and night. Had good parking and the food was very basic menu.

Poor Air quality in the room.
Room was old and in need of renovation. No air circulation at all in the room. Very stuffy, even with the window wide open.

Pleasant business overnight stay. Will stay again
I only had a brief stay, arriving late and leaving early but will happily stay again. The staff were friendly and courteous, the room clean and spacious and the breakfast was good too. Can't ask for more than that on a quick business stay!

The stay was Marvellous💃❤️🎸🎼🍰🍷⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️And felt Very good, both Nice service, super clean bed, elegant Hotel, easy to more around, except for wheelchairs because the elevator stops in between 2. And 3. Floor, used the swimmingpool before breakfast and the amenities was prefect, ballrom big and elegant, bar dark and Nice, lots of coffee and drinking water for the event!!!! The food is gourmet and buffet is quickly filled up all the time!looking

TOO SmALL ROOM
The room is too small and feel easy to bump into the cloth hanging.And the quilt is too heavy.But the breaskfast is excellent.

Decent hotel but terrible customer service.
At check in the front desk person checked me under the incorrect reservation and tried to charge me for an extra person. I asked her to double check my name and sure enough she was putting me in a suite for 3 persons when we were just 2. The price for that suite was double of what I was quoted. The morning breakfast buffet was mediocre and the wait staff was incredibly rude to us! We will never stay at a Scandic hotel again.

Easy to find, enjoyed my meal in the restaurant at the hotel in. Room was tastefully decorated and had everything I needed. The front desk was extremely helpful when I asked what was in the area to do. They found an area guide for me in English

Different name same hotel.
The hotel has changed ownership from Rica to Scandic since I last stayed. I was worried that it would mean a drop in quality but was pleased to see that things were as good as usual.

Remote location, excellent breakfast
Quiet out of the way location with excellent breakfast. I have stayed in all the hotels in the Hamar area and this is sill my favourite. If you wish to visit Hamar for a night out then this is not the most convenient location, you will need an expensive taxi ride to get there. I will be staying again in the future.

Perfect hotel near Jesness!
We loved the Hotel Rica Hamar. It was very clean, excellent breakfast and play room for children. We will definitely stay again during our next visit to Norway!

Both the hotel and staff seem to be tired, and need refurbishment. The breakfast/ food hall is relatively ok. However, still not all fresh vegetables and fruits. Overall, not value of money.

Helt ok for overnatting på gjennomreise, men hotellet er slitt og gammelt. Dårlige senger og teppe på gulv. Pluss er enkelt og gratis å parkere.

Prima hotel! De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon. Ontbijt ‘s morgens is zeer uitgebreid en het personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aanrader!

Greit og billig hotel, veldig lytt. Hører naboer og de som går i gangene gått. Og dersom det blir mye trafikk på utsiden. Frokosten var ok, personalet var hyggelige.
