For the price, it was a good stay.

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Pros: The price and location.
Cons: There was a slight odor to the room, but not smoke odor. Probably dampness due to all the recent rains.
Location: Location near Bremond was excellent for us. We didn't spend any time in Hearne.
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The bed had clean sheets, the room was a nice size. There was a slight odor, and the crickets were abundant, but brought on by the recent rains. The free hot breakfast was a great perk. Considering the price, I really could not expect much more.

Put Off

Posted 19-Jun-2015
We showed up to check in, and after waiting for someone to come up to the front we were told that they had no rooms. I stated that I had reserved them 3 days prior and again I was told that they had no rooms available. The girl needed glasses because she kept squinting and holding papers up to her eyes, but never found our reservation, and then informed me that their internet was down. She basically didn't care because she did not try at all to help resolve the situation. I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

Check in appearance can be fooling.

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Cons: Improve the check in appearance. It's not very pleasant.
Location: Nice, cute diner in front of hotel. Good breakfast, reasonable price.
Upon drive up and check in, I was not impressed and unsure, but the room was pleasantly nice and clean. No problems.

Room smelled. Would hope not to have to stay there again, but would if I absolutely had to do so

Ok for a few hours sleep

My family needed a Hotel for the night close to College Station, this was the closet thing with availability. location was perfect as it did not take us off our desired path. The Hotel is run down, and I very much felt like I would go home with a case of Bed Bugs, The room was stuffy and the AC smelled funky, I opened the windows they were double windows and I thought that was odd, until about 2AM when I started to hear the trains going by and I realized it was for sound proofing. I would not stay again. The good news, No Bed Bugs.

Aggie Football

Posted 14-Nov-2013 on Hotels
I went there to attend a TEXAS A & M football game. The motel was clean but uncomfortable. The mattress on my bed forced me to lean/sleep to my right. This motel caters to railroad personal and before I knew who they were, I thought what kind of "hangout" is this. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location is good and there are restaurants close by. If you don't need anything but a clean place to sleep this will work.

Very Disappointed

Posted 21-Oct-2013 on Hotels
We attemped to check-in 30 min early but were unable (understood). We told them we'd be back for late check-in and proceeded to our college visit to return late that evening. Around 9:30p, we called back and told front desk we wouldn't be arriving until after 1am, BUT we would be there. We finally arrived about 1:30a to find that the evening shift hadn't communicated with nite shift about our arrival so we had no clean room ready. We weren't the only ones in lobby with this issue. Since we didn't have many options, we waited in car (with child) for the room to get clean. Housekeeping was very apologetic, but the front desk, not so much. We finally layed our head on pillow around 3am.
