I was trying to find a place to stay in Chanhassen but everything was booked. One of the hotel staff recommended Oak Ridge to me.
It was a little off the beaten path, but I'm glad I ended up there. Gorgeous facility in a gorgeous location. The room was inviting and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Staff was very professional and I felt very safe (traveling as a single woman, this is of top concern to me) I would definitely stay at Oak Ridge again.
"Nice hotel near the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum"
We had a lovely stay. The indoor pool (five feet at the deep end) and hot tub were fantastic for children. The restaurant across the parking lot gave a discount to hotel guests. Housekeeping lined up my daughter's toy horses, and arranged her sock monkey differently each day--which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of choices.

Clean, easily accessible, very quiet hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Bare necessities, not a lot of frills, but very comfortable and very reasonable in price. I would most certainly come back to this hotel again. Staff exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Great location for all activities and has a nice restaurant right next door! Lovely stay!

I always get a bit nervous when booking a hotel with lower rates, but this time money was tight and I needed a good price, so I booked here. Right from the beginning when I checked in I was impressed. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative and when I got to my room it was sparkling clean. One of the first things I noticed was the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers installed in the bathroom. I'm not sure how common these things actually are but the purpose of them is to reduce waste caused by those little travel-sized containers, and I am all about that! Next I noticed a couple other things in the bathroom: packets of toothpaste and little packages of ear plugs! How thoughtful! My bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast was wonderful (loved the herbed biscuits with my gravy, yum!), I took a spin on one of the free massage chairs (these have leg and feet massage parts, too!) and that was great. Other things they have that I didn't check out are a swimming pool and hot tub (I peeked in, looked clean and well-kept) and free arcade games.
