“Dog friendly”

I was so happy to find a hotel that would accept my 100# dog. The only disappointment was that there is very little grass to walk a dog and what there was had numerous stickers. Maybe a lawn job with some grass would really make it pet friendly.

“Good Choice”

It was pretty good stay. I had a small refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed. Real convienent to I-70. Lots of places to eat and in a short distance.

“Ok for the price”

Good for the price which was the lowest in the area according to Expedia. Bathroom sink/vanity is really small, otherwise acceptable. Room and bathroom were clean, the AC was digital type, so quiet. We had a king bed, so there was room for a small desk for my netbook. WIFI connection was "good". The pillows were the foam blocks so be prepared. Although used by construction workers, it was quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Applebee's close by. We would consider staying here again, just have to bring your own pillow..

“Just another typical Super 8”

The bathtub was nearly black. I had to wear flip-flops when I took a shower. The pillows were thin and overused. The bedding was thin and overused. I would not stay here again. Typical Super 8.

“Short stay was great!”

I was happy with my stay. We were only there over night, but I thought everything was good. Got good directions from staff for restraunt. If in Hays again I will stay there.

“Good hotel in Hays”

We wanted to break our journey in Hays to visit the Sternburg Museum - famous for is dinosaurs which our 8 year old daughter is fanatical about. The Super 8 is just off I-70 and easy to find. The hotel seems well maintained and the room we had was clean and nice. The only negatives were stale nicotine smell in the hallways and a choice of bran flakes or fruit loops for breakfast. We brought our own cereal for the rest of our trip so it was just a case of going to the car and getting it. The orange juice was like discolored water so we told the staff and they quickly put in new concentrate into the machine. A bargain for the amount we were charged. I recommend it for a couple of days which is about all the time you would want to stay in Hays anyway. Great museum!

“Not impressed”

If you are looking for a bed to sleep - and nothing else, then this is your spot. It was okay - but not great.
