Lovely location

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: easy walk to restaurants and waterfront. Very close to Takaro Trails who are the #1 bike trail people for the Hawkes Bay area.
We recently stayed (2 couples) at the Navigate for 2 separate nights at the start and end of our 5 day Hawkes Bay cycle tour. The person who handled the booking (Andrew) was tremendously efficient and helpful and the staff upon arrival both times were superb. The 2 bedroom unit was clean, well presented and had a beautiful outlook onto the harbour and bay. We would have no hesitation in using this accommodation again.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted 08-Mar-2015
Pros: Spacious room, modern and attractive furnishings, opening onto a courtyard; guest laundry; direct passageway to a cafe serving breakfast and lunch.
Cons: Clearer instructions on use of the washing machine in the guest laundry.
Location: There is a bar, restaurant and takeaway directly across the street that look out onto the ocean. Pleasant boardwalk along the beachfront for a stroll
We stayed only one night, and were very pleased with the location and amenities of the hotel. Being only 5 minutes from the centre of Napier was no great disadvantage.

Great for Kids!!

Posted 03-Mar-2015
I really enjoyed our stay at Navigate Seaside. The rooms are super clean and are very spacious. The Hotel is great for kids as it is right across the road from a large playground and beach. Reception staff were very nice and seem to be quite knowledgeable about the area. There are reasonably priced cafes all around the hotel area. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have kids!

Pros: Everything went well. Undercover parking, accessible laundry facilities and comfortable room.
Cons: The ground floor outdoor seating could be high stools and hight table so that you could sit out there and still view the water.
The ocean views were somewhat distorted by the car park, road and restaurant in front of the accommodation .

Comfortable and modern

Posted 01-Feb-2015
We stayed here for two nights and could not fault it. The building is new and the rooms large and comfortable. The reception was welcoming and the hotel is ideally situated, just across a small road, from the beach and walkway. We would certainly return.
