Just one street from the waterfront parklands. Easy walk to the art deco downtown, the National Aquarium, across the road from the RSA, lots of eateries and shops within walking distance

Rooms a bit small, no place to put a big bag but the floor. A full length mirror would have been good. Beds very comfortable.

Problems with paying for motel then over charged use because of card problem that we didn't know about. Milk in glass bottle so didnt know what expiry date was. Bed and pillow need replacing. Shower over bath needs replacing and bathroom. Tv quality poor doesn't work properly.

Hi Kurt,Thanks for your review, Firstly, you paid when you arrived and we asked how would you like to pay if pay by credit card there is a surcharge.Secondly, for using the glass milk bottler we just trying to save the plastic and help with the environment, all the other guests loves it but not you.For shower over bath, why you booked that room for the bathroom setting? pictures shows on the website if you do not like it, do not book.TV quality poor and does not work properly? that is amazing!!! I guess you have not used smart tv before, all the tv replaced one month ago, there are brand new smart tv.Thanks for your complaining anyway, i hope you have a great day and [please trying be happy everyday!

We did not expect to pay 198 dollars for a tiny unit . There was only one arm chair and the other chair had to be moved when one of us moved. We are both of us elderly and found that unit the worst we have stayed at. Not to be repeated

Hi Donald, Thanks for your review and sorry we did not meet your expectation. The room you booked was our smallest and cheapest studio and the price was the cheapest in the town area and I am sure you already knew what looks like before you booked because all the pictures show on the website, if you prefer bigger unit we suggest you to book our one bedroom unit that will give you more room but also cost more. At the end I am sorry that we could not give you a ground floor unit, because everyone else already checked in so try send us message one day before you check in we may get a ground floor unit. We hope we could host you again.

Handy to town
We've stayed here a few times now & always are greeted like long time friends. Very handy to town & a comfortable motel to stay in without handy parking outside your door too.

Great stay.
Friendly reception, eco-friendly (body wash and shampoo were in refillable dispensers and milk in a small refillable bottle). Very comfortable and clean. Great shower. Walking distance to the beach, great restaurants and CBD. Guests are mainly people on business.

well located for shops waterfront and restaurants
A friendly reception and given a choice of units was a good start. Whilst the unit was small and the furniture well used, it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. (The name "Bella Vista" was a bit of a stretch, affording views of Noel Leeming and the RSA from the front, though maybe upstairs back units had a view of the sea. But you wouldn't mark it down for that, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay)

The location is good and walkable distance to the shopping area. The room is clean. However, the mattress is pretty old as I could feel the spring of the mattress in one area. I have to shift towards the center of the double bed to get a good night sleep.

Disappointing with the room
The motel is in a good location to town and the beach. However the room is extremely small.Our door to the bathroom got stuck once closed and it was lucky that my partner was there to let me out as I could not get the door open from the inside of the bathroom. When we told the owner in the morning he said he knew about the problem but that no-one was able to fix it.I was annoyed that he did not mention the problem to us on check in or that we were not given a non faulty room as the motel was not fully booked. Also prime TV channels meant free- view TV and not sky. Would def not stay there again.

Thanks for your review, the compact studio you stayed is our cheapest studio, we do have a larger studio like one bedroom unit available. The bathroom door is not stuck, if you slide slowly that would not be a problem. We do have sky channels, if you did not get the sky channel you should let me know, I am very happy to show you how to use the TV. Thanks for staying with us.
