A family of 4 (couple w/ 2 children) booked 2 interconnected rooms for 4 nights, well in advance, but not given nor rooms close to each other. They call it Suite but it is moderate in size of a bedroom, small sitting room & toilet. The price was not cheap for a 4* hotel. We arrived at 2.30 in the afternoon to the check-in desk. We have been kept waiting for 1 hr 15 mins to receive one room and for 2 hrs to receive the 2nd room, in an incompletely ready state, wet floors, some amenities missing, glass shelf in toilet broken. Informed the reception about the fridge in room not cooling, no one attended to the last day of checking out. Apart from the checking-in frustration and the very noisy every night until late hrs by other guests, the overall hotel stay was satisfactory. The location is good, the view of the Gulf was great. Free hi-speed wifi and breakfast buffet w/ wide variety of cold & hot dishes were included. Decent Gym, Steam room, Sauna, Massage room (masseur was in vacation) & Swimming pool (was under maintenance on our arrival). Self parking in front of the hotel w/ some shaded park. Front desk lobby is spacious and live. The staff service was ok but has some lackness of experience. Overall ok clean hotel but I might look for another hotel on my nest visit to Kuwait.
