“Extremely Satisfied. Suited our needs.”

From the time we got there we enjoyed it. We got a condo facing the ocean. From the front room and patio we could see and hear the ocean. The place was 5 minutes away from the tourist hotspot so no crowd and we could have our peace. Yet we could drive to the surf spots in a few minutes. It is within walking distance to the stores to get groceries etc. The place is very spacious. The place had a laundry also. They even provided us with laundry detergent for a load. The kitchen had everything that was needed. Also having 2 bathrooms was very helpful.

My family enjoyed our stay. It made our vacation comfortable; it's like staying at a house with everything you need in the kitchen. Everyone were so nice!

“Nice location however aged facilities”

The property locates nicely in Kona resort area. It is closed to a shopping center and downtown. The yards are well maintained and kids enjoyed the seaside pools. The front-desk staffs are friendly. However the appliances in my unit are dated and weekly house cleaning was inconvenient. The carpet requires a deep clean. Also the resort charges extra for A/C.

“Best hotel in Kona for relaxing”

We travel to Kanaloa every year and absolutely thank the homeowners that allow Outrigger to use their condos as part of their Condo Collection. I have been traveling to this loction for 20 years and is definately the best place to be in a place with privacy and relaxation. TRULY A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

“Good Ocean Front Room.”

The unit we were in (1504) was an old unit, but the oceanfront views made it up for everything. I had requested a different room in buildning 19, but was not honored. The unit was very well equipped and we were very happy throughout our stay. If you plan to do activities around the isalnd, you must visit the concierge. The welcome package was very nice, which included kids backpacks, sunscreen and sunglasses. Overall very good room.

“So lucky to have found this place, we've already been back”

This place is great--we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, looking over the pool to the ocean. It is a beautiful rocky oceanfront setting, convenient to town but by being just out of town it is quiet. Friendly staff and guests, good access to beaches on the island, excellent snorkeling nearby. We were there with two teenage sons, stayed for several days, then went to other side of island (Hilo and volcanos), and then liked this place so much we came back for the last few days. Lighted tennis courts (with rackets available to borrow), ping-pong, swimming pools, added to the enjoyment for kids (plus this condo had boogie boards). The ocean here and on much of the island is lava rocks, so need to plan to drive to beaches. Having a rental car is a must for any of these places, unless you are at a big resort and don't plan to see anything more on the island. --AR in Montana

“can't waIt to go back!”

We had an ocean view 2 BR/2BR condo with loft. It was very spacious, with 3 balconies and an amazing view of the ocean. We opted not to pay the extra fee for the A/C and were fine without it in March. Rain showers came in the afternoon and cooled everything down, and it was cool at night. During the day, we were out at the beaches and not home anyways. The condo had all the amenities of home and was very comfortable. It is not the Ritz Carlton, though. The decor was dated, but in good condition and very comfortable. The oceanfront pool was a beautiful place to read, and the kids loved swimming there. The condo is very close to restaurants, ice cream, grocery store, and a drug store. The grounds were well kept and pretty. There is a nice plath along the lava rocks in front of the property. The property was quiet, yet still very kid-friendly. The free backpacks/goodie bag they gave the kids on check in was a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

“Great Kona Location”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kanaloa and were pleasantly surprised to see how close we were to the ocean. Our condo had an amazing view of the ocean and we really enjoyed the evening sunsets. In addition, we were also on a golf course, so it felt like a "double bonus". While the area has few beaches, the resort compromises with 3 swimming pools, of which one sits on the shore line. It was a great location!

“Beautiful Hawaii”

Very nice modern, large, and clean condo that was well equiped with all the necessities that we needed for our stay. We liked the bay view that we had and loved relaxing on the balcony listening to the ocean sounds. My only complaint is that I had booked a room wanting a king size bed and when we checked in the bed was not a king... It may have been a queen, but felt more like a double size bed. When I asked about it at the desk I was told that they did not realize that the unit did not have a king in it. They were very sorry but they did not have another unit with a king avail.
