Very clean and quiet property. Spacious room with all the basic necessities and supplies. Stayed for a week and a half and loved it. Volcano is a beautiful area.

Great location for visiting Volcano National Park - small, quiet, pretty secluded but good restaurants down the street and in the Park. Excellent mattresses!

Really quant little place. The room was awesome. They gave us a king size bed upgrade. We had nice neighbor that gave us ice. Would recommend this place to stay if you go to the volcano. The Volcano house is much more expensive and you probable wouldn't get the good room with the view.

We were looking for an affordable option that we could use as our home base while staying on the Big Island for 10 nights. This property met and exceeded our expectations by a mile! We were so impressed with everything!!!

We liked the whole self serve concept. It worked well. Our room was very clean and charming. Supplies were well stocked. It was a great value for the money.

This was a different experience in that it is a non hosted property, no one on site. However, instructions were very clear and contact info provided, but we didn’t need it. Additional supplies are available in the entry area if needed. I think we were the only ones there. It was very comfortable, good mattress, linens, fluffy towels, good water pressure in the shower. Liked the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Nice place. Would stay there again.

it's close to the park and quiet. No staff on-site but they respond quickly. The room has been upgraded and we really like the setting. The only thing is there is not much choices for restaurants in the area except one which is really good.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your upgrade. While Volcano Village is quite small, there are still a few dining options. Just be sure to plan ahead as they tend to close early, typically around 7-8 pm. Mahalo for choosing to book with us!

Nice place and quiet and very near the park. Very clean and the room has everything I needed. Pleasant furnishings. Wish there was a fireplace for cold nights. Lol.

Charming, quirky, secluded lodge. Clean and well-maintained. Very quiet, except for some loud frogs. I gave it 5 stars for staff & service even though I didn't see anyone--I had everything I needed and the place was well-stocked. Another plus is that it's very close to the park.

Close to national park, restaurants are expensive in the area. Excellent communication w/ the host. We haven't checked out yet and the cleaning person didn't knock before entering our room.

Perfect stay!
Amazing stay at Lokahi lodge! Communication and directions were awesome, room was comfortable, very well decorated and clean ,everything you need is available and location is perfect to spend time in Volcano I was not sure about the self serve concept but decided to trust the great reviews and so glad we did Mahalo

We were in room 203 it was very clean and had a king and double bed. The bathroom had a large rain shower and was also very clean. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood 1 mile from Volcano National park. Easy parking. We really enjoyed staying here.

A really cute little lodge, only 6 or 7 rooms each with own entrance and covered lanai. Nestled in rainforest, volcano National Park less than a mile. Have never stayed where it wS not manned. Delightful efficient experience. Will stay there again

Recommended highly
Large clean comfortable rooms with nice amenities not listed on the website included mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker dinnerware and utensils for two, a mile from the park entrance. Would definitely stay again.
