“Sit and Relax”
this was my 4th time here. Without our time-share this time. I had a nice easy relaxing time. Staff made me feel welcome.
“Great customer service. Good location”
Probably the best customer service I've received. Good location and quiet resort!!
“Wonderful place to stay..”
We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom which was really nice as the kids had thier own room. The kitchen and living room were spacious. Lots of greenery around the property.
“Very Impressed”
Nice locations, very clean, great staff support. Easy access to tennis courts. generally, very nice friendly(family) place, highly recommend.
“Like Being Home, but Better”
Nice place, easy to get to and plenty of things to do.
“Nice space, a little far out”
The rooms are nice - good amount of space, new furniture, carpets, etc. The location is a few miles outside of town. The concierge is a bit aggressive, but can book good deals for snorkeling, etc. Overall, recommended location - if you don't mind having to drive to town (there really isn't anywhere walkable for dinner, etc)
“Home away from home”
These apartments are set in beautiful gardens surrounded by waterfalls, landscaped lava and swimming pools. Our 2 bedroom unit was beautifully equipped with a full kitchen and laundry, a wonderfully spacious upstairs living area with large balcony overlooking the pool, two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs and a great practical tiled entrance area. Decor is very pleasant and welcoming. This is a great base for exploring the island and a car is definitely required to get the most out of your stay - it is not a resort in terms of choosing to stay there if you dont want to leave the complex. Instead, it is a beautiful base to return too after days exploring the delights of the big island. A very popular snorkelling beach which is also the home of endangered sea turtles is only 1 mile away and the nearest supermarket about the same. A great value stay.
“Teriffic Value for your money”
Rented a 2 bedroom unit for 1 week for the same daily rate I would have paid at a hotel. Each kid had their own bed (they hate sharing a double bed in hotel rooms) plus we had a king bed in our own bedroom. Nice kitchen with all the pots/pans/plates/etc. Front desk was very helpful and gave us restaurant recommendations and map of the area. Right down the road from one of the major Snorkel cruise companies too!
“Great stay in a great condo!”
We stayed in the resort for 8 nights. Had a 2 bedroom unit. It was fabulous! Very clean with everything you need - dishes, washer dryer, hair dryer, free wi-fi, plenty of towels, 3 TVs. Each bedroom had its own bath + there was a half bath upstairs for living room/kitchen. Bedrooms are downstairs. Both up and downstairs had a patio. Trash is taken out every day and towels are changed every day also (including beach ones). One full cleaning half way through the stay. Fridge had an ice maker so no need to buy ice. Unit has central AC. Grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Parking is in a parking garage so your car doesn't get hot and is secure. Depending on which building you are in it is between a 30 second to maybe a 3 minute walk to your unit. Staff is on hand with golf carts if you need stuff trasported into your vehicle or need a ride yourself. Not too far or bothersome and nice to not hear any car noise in your condo! You do need to check out at 10am, but can stay and use the pools, they will provide you with towels and have a shower if you need one later. Will store your luggage in a locked secure storage. Overall a great stay!!!
“Holua no ka oi!”
Holua Resort at Keauhou Bay is the best ever! After a horrible flight lasting eight and a half hours, our lousy luck changed. We were upgraded from a one- to a two-bedroom suite at no charge. The rooms are clean, quiet and the employees are all friendly and very helpful. The beds are SO comfortable. We had three bathrooms for three people - nice! The grounds are beautiful and the location is near a snorkeling company and Monday luau. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kona-Kailua.
