“Excellent location”

This was a brilliant location for Annecy just a 5 min walk from the station and a 2 min walk into the old town plus the lake is only a 10 minute walk too so this more than makes up for the slightly cramped rooms. But the hotel is very clean and not too big and in a quiet location so I would definitely stay there again!!

“Loved Annecy and the Carlton”

This hotel is in a perfect location in a beautiful city. Walking to the old town was 5 minutes and the rail station was even closer. The staff was excellent. We asked for their help with everything from restaurants, directions, the best way to get to other villages, etc and they went above and beyond to accomodate us. My husband wanted to go fishing and they determined what type of license he needed and where to get it. My only complaint was the size of our room. It was very tiny even by European standards. We were there for 6 nights so this became difficult. The other rooms we were able to see were considerably larger. We did not ask for a change of rooms, perhaps we should have. We did make it work! I highly reccommend this hotel, as well as the area.

“Well placed Annecy hotel”

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel which was ideally placed in Annecy - under 5 minutes from both the rail/bus stations and from the medieval town of Annecy. The hotel was welcoming and the reception staff spoke English and were very helpful. Our room was small but contained everything one could need including a good ensuite shower and hairdryer. The room was well serviced every day and the breakfast (for which we paid extra) was a really good one with a lot of choice. We would stay there again if we were visiting Annecy.

“BW carleton, Annency France. a wonderful hotel.”

We visited Annency in August 2010 and found the old town very crowded so be forewarned. The old town has relatively narrow streets and there were a lot of visitors. The BW Carleton is very close to old town. Tricky to find without a GPS but we had one fortunately. We did a day trip to Geneva and Chamonix, which we thrououghly enjoyed..

A comfortable hotel. Well located. The bus from Geneva stops just over the road.

The hotel was on the edge of the pedestrian area and about a 10 minute walk to the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was on the 7th floor and it was perfect since you could see over the surrounding buildings towards the chateau and various churches.

“Just hope your neighbours are quiet!”

Hotel was really nice and our room was lovely and with a balcony. The hotel is situated in a great location only 1 or 2 blocks from the old town but still quiet. Unfortunately, can't say the same for our neighbours in the room next door. They made quite a lot of noise (mostly in the corridor outside our room) for which they were asked to desist on several occasions. This was made much worse by the lack of noise insulation in the room door. I didn't get to sleep until 6am but I realise we were unlucky. The hotel gave us free car parking in compensation but I would rather have had a good nights sleep!

“hotel best western annecy:bien”

tout est bien bonne localisation (proche zones pietonnes) possibilite parking (indispensable),tres bon accueil,chambre petite (nous venions de NY ou la chambre etait 3x plus grande). le seul inconfort le manque d'isolation phonique du a l'anciennete du batiment ( fort beau au demeurant) qui permet au toilettes de partager une partie de la vie des voisins.
