"Lovely overnight stay at Avisford Park. Room was spacious and very comfortable for a family. Bathroom was big! Enjoyed drinks in the bar but didn’t eat at the restaurant. Pool was lovely and warm. Enjoyed the tennis courts and table tennis facilities and free use of equipment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will return!"

"Comfortable hotel. Not easily accessible for those with mobility problems. Parking is an issue. But the hotel itself is very nice. Breakfasts are good. The restaurant offers good options for dinner. Nice bar. The pool is fantastic, the garden is lovely, and there are great walking possibilities. Some rooms have cosy balconies, but try to avoid loud weddings. "

"Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!"

"The staff at this hotel were outstanding. Without a doubt the best customer service we have received anywhere in a long time. Miranda at the front desk was so welcoming & helpful. We also had fantastic service at dinner in the bar, they were super accommodating to our children, there wasn’t a children menu but they offered to make them child friendly meals. Simon our waiter was so friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The food here is delicious, don’t stay without eating here. I would come to this hotel just to eat! The pool here is lovely, so warm & with young children that’s important. Seating is available round the pool so if you have older children you can just sit in comfort & watch. Again the staff in the leisure centre are very helpful & friendly. We didn’t come across one member of staff who wasn’t kind & engaged with guests. The room was large, the bathroom & brown carpet needed an update but it was clean & functional. Location close to M3 is also great & the fact they allow dogs is a huge plus. Overall a wonderful stay."
