“Nice hotel”

The place was clean and modest. Nothing to fancy but a good place to stay near the Business District

“Cleam the carpets (or replace em')”

The people were great and the beds were soft but the carpets REALLY need to be steam cleaned. They are DIRTY! Don't walk bare foot around your room.

“NOOOOOOOOOOO”

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HOTEL IS ON EXPEDIA WEBSITE...THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS IN A SHADY LOOKING PART OF TOWN..BUT I GUESS I REALLY COULDN'T BE PICKY CONSIDERING I WAITED TO LATE TO TRY TO FIND A ROOM FOR THE ESSENCE FESTIVAL..I WENT DOWN STAIRS FOR TOWELS AND WAS TOLD GIVE THEM A DA*N MIN...THE COVERS ON ONE OF THE BEDS SMELLED LIKE IT HADNT BEEN WASHED IN OVER A YEAR..THE TOLIET DIDNT WANT TO FLUSH...THE HOUSEKEEPERS THAT I SAW LOOK LIKE THEY WERE GETTING PAID FOR MORE THAN HOUSEKEEPING..(.PINK AND GREEN HAIR)..CALLED DOWN TO THE OFFICE A FEW TIMES AND WAS HUNG UP ON...AND WHEN THEY DID SPEAK THEY DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING...THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS THE RESTAURANT..

“Travelodge Westbank could be a good experience if...”

We stayed at the Travelodge Westbank last week-end and the price was very impressive, a surprising deal for metro NOLA. the neighbourhood was OK-near the highway but decent, relatively clean and it felt safe. I liked the proximity of the amenities and easy access to the city. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and helpful. Three things marred our stay there: first the first floor ice machine was non-operative and there was no sign on it advising people of its condition and the other ice machine was on the second floor (walk-up)-not convenient at all. Second we got no maid service during our stay. I was able to get fresh towels from the front desk but I had to go get them. Third we got a scam phone call through the hotel switchboard at 2:17 AM. In spite of these I would recommend the Travelodge for the price and the convenience.

Not really familiar with the area, we spent our time in the Marigny district in NOLA.

“Very Impressed”

I booked a room for my brother & mother to stay in the weekend of my daughter's wedding. The clerks at checkin desk were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean and very roomy. They enjoyed their stay & I would recommend it to anyone coming in to town for a short visit. It's near the expressway & shopping area & you can't beat the price. I myself stayed at one of the ritzy hotels in the CBD & was very disappointed with the way we were treated & the price to park your car. Wish I had booked my room at the Travel Lodge, would have saved me a lot of money & headache.

“t review no”

The motel for the most part was fine, we did have some minor issues the lock on our door was broken, the hair dryer was broken and the pool wasn't open the first three days we were there. The motel staff, however, was pleasant and very helpful when we asked them somehing.

There are amazing places all around New Orleans that is great for anyone.

“Great Motel with Great Restaurant.”

This motel was great, and would go back again. Price was wonderful, considering it was a special week-end with many people in town for Jazz Fest.

“Horrible”

It was too far from New Orleans across a horrible traffic jammed bridge. Passed many cops and three bail bond offices in the very shady surrounding neighborhood. There was not a single available parking spot in the lot, I'm assuming because they were all taken up by Johns bringing prostitutes to the parking lot (which I witnessed Friday night). Got offered marijuana in the parking lot on my way to my room. Finally to get in my room and try to sleep in literally the worst bed I have ever slept in. The next night I chose the floor and had a better nights sleep.

Area recommendations
Downtown. If you to New Orleans for the French Quarter, this hotel is too far away.
