“Great hotel along the highway.”

Hotel was rated 3 of 5 by Expedia. Agree totally with that assessment. Very nice room, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Excellent.

“breakfast”

Breakfast was a weak affair at best. There was no fruit and it had nothing but food that you cannot eat unless you have no allergies. This repast could be vastly improved by a plate of fresh fruit and an offering of soy or rice milk.

“OK place to stay”

Good place to stay, but definitely require updates to the Gym and Break fast area.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I booked and unpublished room on expedia to save money and once I purchased it I was informed that it was the Ramada in East Hartford CT. That price for a 3 star hotel was unbelievably low, so I was very skeptical of what the hotel's condition would be like. Well when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised, even though cosmetically the hotel needs work done. As you pull up the faded signs still say Holiday Inn on one side, the hallway ceiling on my floor had a hole in it near the elevator, and the elevator was dirty after housekeeping left for the day. But even with all that said I recommend this hotel. Reason being, the front desk workers were very accommodating & pleasant, it was less than 10 minutes from downtown Hartford and located literally right off of a major highway, and because my room was clean and very spacious. It also had a nice desk & couch, a microwave, fridge, and a flat screen tv. Everything in the room was in good condition and in working order so I was very pleased. They also have an attached bar/restaurant that definitely adds to the value. It was full of booth seating, has large flat screen tvs throughout, two pool tables, and I was told that they have a DJ seven days a week. So If location and comfort is more important to you than appearance, then the Ramada in East Hartford is for you.

“Ramada East Hartford”

The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated (and the water pressure in teh shower was great!). Overall, the room was very nice. However, the lobby and hallways were very dated and the elevator was very dirty and smelled terrible!

“Pleasant”

I found it pleasant. They had live entertainment and a continental breakfast which was a pleasant surprise.

“Rooms nice, outside needs help.”

Outside of the hotel looks run down, but the room themselves are updated and nice. The gym leaves a lot to be desires with no TV. But I would stay there again without hesitation.

“Not Awful”

I arrived at 3:30pm I was not given a room until after 5pm! After two flights I was def exhausted so I was very disappointed. You would think they would ast least offer a late check out but of course not! I chose this hotel because of the shuttle service to and from the airport, but once my room was paid for in full I was told that the shuttle would strictly be for a conference they were having at the time of my stay. The business center(1 pc) was not working. The one good thing about this hotel was that the room was clean and comfortable. But with everything else, I won't return.

“Lost and confused”

1st thing about our 2 day stay was we couldn't find the hotel. It used to be a Holiday Inn but is now a Ramada. There was no new sign and when I called the hotel, they said that the Holiday Inn sign was turned around, their sign hadn't arrived yet. They made it seem like I should know this. If you get a room on the highway side, you will hear ir all night long. It was about 100 yards from our room. Also on Sunday around 9:00am the fire alarm went off. I guess it was the 5th out of 6 Sunday's the alarm had gone off. All because someone burns their bagel in the toaster at the continental breakfast.Good Luck with this hotel. Cheap but not really worth it
