“Great Hotel for Connecticon”

I recently stayed at the Hartford Hilton while attending Connecticon with a few friends. The hotel that the convention center is connected to fills up fast, but the Hilton was an excellent alternative. It is just a short, pleasant walk from the convention center and there are plenty of places to stop along the way for food and ATMs. We were able to have dinner delivered to our room with no problem. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room was spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

“Very nice”

The hotel workers were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is one that maybe you can't fix -- there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom! This resulted in my having to decide between having steambathed privacy, or no privacy/less steam. Not great when you're traveling with your pre-pubescent sons! There were long lines at M&M, probably due to the big UCC convention (of which I was a part), but the hostess was super helpful in fitting us in. Phone problem was fixed within minutes of our reporting it.

“Upscale Comfort in Downtown Hartford”

We were very pleased with our one night stay- the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was gleaminingly clean, and the beds comfy with nice linens. Be prepared to have a small fee for parking added to your bill if you bring your car- and the bottles of Evian they leave for you are desperately pricey IF you drink them. State of the art TV and entertainment system in the room as well as internet access (for a fee). Interesting views of the city from the giant glass windows. Definitely a good experience.

The condition and features of the hotel was excellent. My only complaint is that our rooms didn't have a mini fridge.

The staff was excellent, welcoming us and assisting with our needs. Questions were answered. Directions were given. Transportation was arranged. Arrangements were made to satisfy our hunger pangs after we arrived back to the hotel from an enjoyable evening at the Connecticut Forum. The maid met us in the hall when we were checking out and inquired about our comfort. How nice.

“Hilton Hartford”

The heater was not working when we first arrived at the room. Friendly staff came and changed the unit immediately. Entire staff was wonderful! Great access to the XL center made this a very convenient choice. Lunch was excellent but the breakfast buffet was less than pleasing.
