“Diserted”
The place was nearly empty of guest! Not one person in the resturant or bar. Creepy
“fire alarms!!!”
We made reservations to stay as my son was visiting nearby colleges the following day. We arrived at the hotel not able to check-in as there had been a fire alarm and all guests had to evacuate (7 pm).. After we check in and setteld in another alarm went off at approx 9:30 pm, again requesting all guests to evacuate. If that wasn't bad enough, we were awakened by a guest in the next room ( 1:30 a.m.) moaning, groaning and crying so loudly for 20 minutes, we had to call the desk manager to make sure she wasn't being harmed. He responded immediately, and we never found out the problem, but that did shut her up. If it all wasn't so true, we would have been laughing all night! I know the third incident wasn't the hotels fault, however, it didn't make for a great night's rest.
“Worst Hotel Stay, ever”
A dirty towel was in our bathroom when we arrived. The tub had extremely poor drainage. Room service food trays were left in the hallways all night. The WiFi was nonexistent. You could see the network and connect to it, but the signal was too poor to access the internet. Overall, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I was very disappointed with the lack of concern and the complacency shown by the staff especially in regards to the sanitary issues. Very disappointed with Sheraton Hotels.
“seen its better days, owners are too cheap to maintain hotel”
The sink facet was really lose, the ceiling had water damage, tub had mold, old tv,bad neighborhood
“unfortunate”
Bad experience from the check in. Given room entry cards without rm number written on envelope and asked the clerk which room and she said'can't you read;its on there' and she added an apoligy after realizing she forgot to write it. Room 600,two table lamps that didn't work.floor lamp without a shade, a 1990'S Phillips tv,poor quality;remote did not work and shower head very low in bathroom. Next morning I was changed to room 602 with entry light not working;same old style TV;same non working remote and not a room basket to be found. re-entered room 600 and got basket from there. When I returned at night from Convention Center after watching volleyball tourney the parking lot was pitch black. The time was 9;30. I mentioned to the clerk about my concerns and she didn't say a word.By 10 the lights finally were on.I will not return.
“Will not go back!”
I think this hotel can use a major renovation. Everything is old and worn out. I find other person's long hair in my supposedly clean bed! The bath room was not clean. There were 2 towels for 4 people. No hand soap. The room service should be informed ahead of time that there would be 4 guests checking in. Front desk staff is not friendly at all. How did expedia give a 3 1/2 stars to this hotel? ! I Do not get it.
“Disappointed”
Hotel is very old and very out dated. I wasn't comfortable but it served its purpose. Would not stay there again.
“Not happy”
I paid for two double beds, and got one king bed. I asked for a two double bed once there, they told me they did not have any. There was horrible noise out in the hallways, and the hotel did nothing to stop it. Would never stay in the hotel again. Elevators were too small and slow, one was out of order. I asked for extra towels and never got them.
“Not a happy camper”
Bad place, it was not clean at all. The room had a clogged tube, leaking pipes, wall paper comming off, mold in the bathroom.
“Not Impressed”
The door to the bathroom was cheaply painted and warped on the bottom, a room service staff member was rude to me on the phone, and there was a place in the popcorn ceiling where there had been water damage and they'd repaired and covered it with flat paint. There was also an area where the wallpaper was loose in the room from water damage. The toilet malfunctioned and they moved me to a second room that was in much better condition, but I already couldn't wait to leave at that point. I called expedia and asked if there was availability in another hotel and there wasn't. After expedia spoke with management the service got much better and room service was fine. Still, I can't say it was a good experience staying there.
