“The Village Inn”
a beautiful little room with a surprise back porch!! Absolutely wonderful, as it snowed our second night there and my daughter was able to run back and forth on the porch and play in the snow with relative ease! very comfortable beds with a nice number of pillows.
“Great hotel at an affordable price!”
Great hotel! Affordable price, great staff, close to downtown, everything clean. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. Bathrooms have hot tub like jets if you're into a jacuzzi like bath.
“Not luxurious, but a good deal.”
Recently stayed with my 2 children for a short family vacation. The hotel's location is a mile or two from downtown Harrisonburg (great little downtown area) and easy acess to RT81. The staff was very helpful confirming (or not) my options for good restaurants in the area. The pool was an oasis at the end of the 100 degree days we experienced while in Va. The hotel is not luxurious, but comfortable and roomy for the price. A few things were a little worse for wear -- towels were a little rough and tub area could use a little sprucing up. We had breakfast in the restaurant one morning, prices were good, food OK. Overall the hotel is a good choice for a home base for a family vacation.
“Perfect in every way”
Second time at the Village Inn - pleasant service, comfortable room with a dvd player, restaurant on premises. Just outside the main Harrisonburg drag, but worth the (short) drive. Wouldn't stay elsewhere.
“Great Little Inn”
This Inn, although somewhat dated is very clean and the staff very accommodating. We tried the on site restaurant for breakfast and were very happy we did. Wonderful people working there and the food was exceptional. It is a Pet Friendly Hotel which charges an additional $10 for the pet. I do not recall that additional fee being illustrated during the on line reservation process and I think It should be.
“Village Inn Harrisonburg”
Friendly people, clean, locally run place, excellent food, reasonably priced, takes pets... I give it stars ***** I would definitely return.
“Relaxed traveler”
Very clean and relaxing. All of the comforts of home. I would stay there again.
“Highly Recommend”
We are a family of four, with two young children, and we recently spent two nights at The Village Inn. We chose this hotel because of the very affordable price, and it's proximity to Massanutten Water Park. The hotel did not disappoint! Our double was clean and spacious. One can discern that the owners have spent money renovating. The grounds are well-kept and picturesque, with a river flowing in the rear grounds. There is a great playground for the kids, and lots of space to run. We also noted the outdoor pool and hot tub for the summer months. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was our favorite and you can't beat the price! We highly recommend and plan to go back in the summer.
“Low cost for high quality”
The hotel was very clean, comfortable and a great value for the money. Enjoyed the lunch buffet at the restaurant and the food was hot and very delicious. This will be my new place to stay in Harrisonburg.
“Fall Getaway”
What a beautiful place. The Village Inn is located in a picturesque farming area yet very modern. Easy to find, close to the interstate. It was a wonderful change from chain hotels. Everyone was so friendly and nice, made us feel special. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, and internet access. The bathroom was larger than in most motels. Due to time restraints we ate only one meal (buffet breakfast). The food selection was great, the quality and taste outstanding. The service was far above average. I would definately like to stay here again, and would recommend the inn to my family and friends. The service we received is a testimony as to why this long-time family owned inn is business today.
