“A distant, expensive second”

The only reason to stay at the Crowne Plaza is that you need to be downtown for business and the Hilton a block away is completely booked. The Hilton is cheaper, roomier, has better food options, and lives up to business class expectations. The Crowne Plaza fails on all of these fronts, but they know you're only staying there for the reason I mentioned above, so they up charge you a bit for not booking the Hikton earlier. Yup, paying more for less. The rooms are smaller, the wifi is TERRIBLE and unreliable (not sure google should be proud to be identified as the sponsor of it), they don't offer the fairly standard "hang on the door" breakfast ordering. That said, it's better than staying by the airport and it's not a fleabag hotel by any means. Just cramped and dated. The service is about 80% of where it should be -- mostly succeeding but with a couple big fails. The breakfast though, was very tasty. Even if I did have to wake up and talk to someone to order it before I had my coffee. Oh, and while the room service uses a very nice local roaster, the in room offering was Maxwell House! Egads.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Internet connections required plugging in to cable at desk. Pool was very nice. It was about a 25 minute drive to Hershey Park.

the room was not ready for me and i was going to check in at 4:00pm,and they forgot to called me for wake me up at 6:30 am

“Great downtown hotel, rooms are pretty small though”

It's a great hotel for young people, its close to everything downtown and even has little bar of its own thats not bad for a few drinks. Parking is a touch expensive, valet parking that is, but all in all a great place. The hotel staff is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

“Outstanding Quality & Value”

We were originally given a room which clearly had been occupied by smokers, despite the room having been designated as "non-smoking," and our having requested a non-smoking room. We notified the front desk and were immediately switched to a room which didn't have a hint of smoke in it. We were really pleased to see that the hotel's management wanted to make things right as quickly as possible. Additionally, the cleaning staff were excellent. We had a bit of a mishap with the room's coffeemaker while rushing to get to a graduation cerimony and left a real mess, intending to clean it up when we got back. We returned quickly, before most hotels would even have thought about making up our room, but were delighted to see that the room had been made up perfectly and our little mishap was nowhere to be seen.

“Needs major up grade to justify cost of lodging.”

Room was old and seen better time. Heat would not go above 65 degrees. TV old and channels very limited. bath room was worn and so small the door almost hit the toilet. Would not stay here again.

“Great hotel and value as 4 star hotel package with flight”

Great customer service. Was put on a business/adults only floor where I was able to get work done without having any distractions. Good location. Only minor issue I had was I thought there was places to self park when in reality the hotel is valet only but it wasnt a problem because the valets were great at getting my car the many times i left. Would definitely recommend. There was also free wifi and ethernet access.
