“Comfortable and friendly hotel”

The hotel is out of the centre but it's in a quiet area and I was able to sleep well during my stay there. When I left the hotel in the morning I tended to stay out for the entire day as the hotel is out of the way. My room was very comfortable with a fridge which let me store some food for breakfast. There is just one computer available for guests in the hotel lobby but I never had to wait to use it.

Area recommendations

As soon as I arrived at the Hauptbahnhof I made my way over to the tourist information across the road and picked up some leaflets. There is a very good walking tour of the town but it's only done on Saturdays at 3pm outside the tourist info office. If you decide to do it on your own, there are red lines on the footpaths leading you from one tourist attraction to the next. Make sure you go into the town hall and see the 4 models of the town in different years. There is a lovely garden area just behind the town hall and if anyone finds out the significance of all the colourful locks on one of the bridges there let me know! It's worthwhile getting the Hannover card which lets you use the public transport for free and has other reductions to museums, etc.

Getting there

From the Hauptbahnhof take Straßenbahnlinie 3, direction Altwarmbüchen. Get off at Oldenburger Allee and walk back about 8 minutes to the hotel. I'd advise getting a day ticket for 2 zones as this hotel is out of the way a bit and you'll need the day ticket - either that or get the Hannover ticket.

“enjoyable”

we totaly enjoyed our stay at the Park Inn hotel.However, there were three of us in the room and only two single quilts on the beds. Service was a little slow in the resteraunt as they were quite busy but the staff were cheerful and helpful.We would definately stay again.

“Good Value”

There's a tram station less than 500 meters from the hotel. With tram, you're 20 minutes away from the Central Station, and then another 20 minutes from Messe. The hotel staff are friendly, but we didn't come across any trouble to test the helpfulness. The breakfast is very good.

“Park Inn”

Bei Ankunft schlimmer Gestank im Zimmer, Abfluss am Waschbecken war verstopft. Ca. 10 Minuten nach dem Anruf bei der Reception stand jemand vor der Tür und hat das Problem Freitag abend 23 Uhr erledigt. Klasse Service. Zimmer leicht abgenutzt, aber trotzdem sauber und angenehm. Highlight ist das Frühstück mit sehr freundlichem Personal und einer grossen Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken.

Zu empfehlen ist die Stadtrundfahrt der Touristenzentrale, günstig und sehr informativ.

“Gerne wieder”

Das Hotel hat uns gut gefallen. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich. Liegt zentral zur Autobahn und zum Einkaufen. Man ist schnell in der Stadt.
