Great price/performance ratio
Stayed one night in this hotel. It is very conveniently located for someone travelling via A7 Autobahn. There are two parking slots in front of the hotel; hotel's own for fee or a free public parking. Despite of late arrival, there was no problems of any kind. Staff multilingual. The hotel was very nice and clean. Room was perfectly equipped and with a comfortable bed. Only minor issue was a somewhat cold floor of the bathroom. The breakfast was very decent and delicious and the serving staff friendly. This is a hotel with very good price/performance ratio! Will definitely stay there again.

Good hotel but a few niggles
Overall a nice hotel but it was very busy (a conference or something) so hard to find a space for breakfast and the mattress was awful! The rooms were fine though and it was very quiet.

Nice, functional hotel for business trip
Stayed there on a Business trip. Rooms and bathrooms (for single bed rooms) we're much smaller than I expected. Area is quite sleepy but nice with the delightful Teirgarten Shanke restaurant very close by. Staff in the bar were great!

Nice location, poor food
This hotel had a lovely park beside it. They served a buffet for 19 euro. The buffet not worth the money. Served jellow for desert, a steak dish extremely tough, I only had salad as vegetables were over cooked.

A fine Messe...
I booked this to attend the Hannover Messe Industrial Fair and had no idea where it was or if it was a nice hotel. The price was steep!! From what I can gather, they bumped the price up at least 5 times during the show!! From a normal rate of about $90 to over $500 for the show. Problem is, all hotels in area did the same thing. The staff was very courteous and helpful and most spoke English which helped. It is out of town but the rail station is about a block and it is short ride into town. Getting to the Fair required transferring in town but not a bad trip. Of course, we had the mandatory rail strike which seems to somehow coincide with international shows. About 60 Euros taxi from airport and 20-25 to show. Room was small. No air conditioning that I could find. Never found a thermostat either but it was cool for April so not needed. Bathroom was VERY small. You could almost brush your teeth when you were... well you know. The English TV channels would come and go. They did have a happy hour for fair participants. Not a bad place but not sure I would recommend it unless you are desperate. If I go to the Fair again, not sure where I'll stay.

A Winter Jewel.
This trip was a series of journeys I am making to Hannover in order to compose a serious music work for the city. This journey was to focus on the peace and calm that exists in and around Hannover from Heiligabend through the two days of Weinacht. The staff at the hotel have been very helpful in many ways connected to my research. I choose this hotel becasue of its location next to Tiergarten, part of the former 'Royal Hunting Forest' of The Electors of Hannover. For transportation the hotel is very conveniently located about 50m from the nearest U-Bahn stop into Hannover City Centre. For serious walkers there is a nice of around 8Km's through Tiergarten to 'Herman Lons Park.' Exiting this parkland anywhere near 'Anna Stift' on the main road into the city walkers cannot fail to see the continuation of the forest across the road. Find the red cycle route signs and follow them to 'Maschee', Hannover's celebrated lake. The exit from the forest will eventually be at the Dohern end of the Maschee. It is an excellent walk, well signposted and also suitable for cycling. This hotel is popular at this time of year for its wonderful Weinachts Buffet. For those guests with an ability in piano playing the hotel provides a grand piano in the lobby. Wi-fi access at this hotel is free for basic usage and is as fast and reliable as you would like. The location is much quieter than city centre hotels, so very relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel.

I'll never stay at a Leonardo Hotel again
Booked four nights on a work trip. Hotel had no record of my booking. After half an hour wait we were given a room key. The room was absolutely freezing, the heating wasn't working. I called down to reception and a chap came with a wrench and twissled the radiator to no effect. He suggested waiting 15 mins for it to warm up. After an hour our heads were going numb so I went down to reception and was met with the surliest, most unhelpful night porter. He didn't apologise for the lack of heating, dismissively said they had no other rooms available and I could have another blanket! With this attitude I decided I wouldn't be staying for the whole four nights and asked the porter to confirm that if I checked out in the morning I would not be charged for the whole trip. He refused. Eventually he called a manager who said I could speak to someone in the morning but I would be charged despite the freezing room. After another hour they gave us an electric heater........which didn't work properly! In the morning I spoke with the manager who apologised and said I wouldn't be charged if I checked out and offered a complimentary breakfast which was appreciated. The breakfast was very good but he whole experience was exhausting and I will never again stay in a Leonardo Hotel.

Standard of service was very poor. No shuttles to any where other than air port, which is 2 minutes of walking distance. Nothing in bath rooms, I had to go buy shapoo, soap, toothpaste, tooth brush, cotton swabs. Only one Resturant, NOT much selection of food.

Great Location Away From The City Centre
This is a very nice hotel in a very pleasant quiet suburban location. The hotel is situated directly adjacent to Hannover's Tiergarten, at one time the private hunting forest of the Elector's of Hannover. Access to the City Centre is easy from the nearby frequent tram/UBahn service. The hotel is easily accessible from the E2 and A7 motorways. If there is one small downside to my visit is that I find the German taste for hard mattresses on the beds too hard for me. I suffer from various spinal problems and it would be nice if the hotel could accommodate my disability requirements by supplying a bed with a softer mattress, or a soft mattress topper. However, this is a problem I have found to be widespread amongst all of the hotels I have stayed in around Germany so I cannot criticize this hotel in isolation. Breakfast is too expensive, especially around Christmastime, when the temptations of the much cheaper street food at the truly excellent Hannover Christmas Market beckons to keep me fueled for the day. These are relatively small criticisms of an otherwise excellent hotel. The staff and service are truly excellent.

Top quality hotel about 5 miles from Hannover centre, but easy to get to on S-Bhan (buying a ticket it's zone 1, <3 euros, takes about 25 mins and they run every 10 mins or so). The TV must have had a choice of about 80 channels with around 10 being English (bbc1/2, itv/3/4 etc). The only thing missing was a kettle. I didn't have the breakfast (extra 17 euros). Supermarkets, bar etc close by.

Good for the price, and nice location
Overall, the hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. However, I had a couple of minor issues - handwash and tissues etc. weren't refilled in my room (which could have been a bit cleaner). I also had a staff member knock and then walk right in without waiting for me to answer once. She did apologise, but it was a bit intrusive.

What is promised?
Clean and comfortable, Leonardo Hotel Hannover gave a weary traveler a good night's rest. The staff was friendly. Nevertheless my stay was far from satisfactory. I arrived late in the evening and drove straight to the large P that indicated the parking lot. Upon making my booking I had noticed that the hotel offered free parking and access to a gym. I was hoping for a bit of morning exercise before continuing on my way I later learned that I had driven past the free parking and into a parking that was not free. The next morning, I suited up only to learn that the gym didn't open till 2 pm by which time I would have to be far gone, because it was... Monday

Lovely hotel in lovely surroundings!
The Queen's Hotel is situated a short tram ride from Hannover City Centre (tram stop at the end of the approach road to the hotel). It is located right beside Tiergarten, the ancient hunting forest of the Electors of Hannover. It is a beautiful setting and, for the most part, pretty quiet, with only occasional audible background noise from the main road. The hotel is very clean and well kept in a plush, conservative, 'Art Deco' style. Rooms have quality fitments with a lovely bathroom. The beds are on the hard side of comfortable for most British tastes but I have found that this is a German preference and as most their guests will be German I can't criticize that too much. I have stayed at the Queen's Hotel now on four occasions, three of them over the Christmas holiday. The hotel provides a stunning Christmas Buffet lunch and the restaurant food is of a very high standard. The staff are wonderful, very polite, very forgiving of my German:-) and all speak good English. All staff at the hotel seem to work very hard and are conscientious. The cleaners do a fantastic job, rooms are spotlessly clean, every day, with everything neatly arranged. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to a visitor to Hannover, especially if you are looking for something in quieter surroundings. The walks around Tiergarten are beautiful at any time of year.

Convenient Stay in Hannover
We asked for a newly renovated room on the upper level with view of the park (away from the entrance) - could not have been better! Older rooms facing the entrance area are very loud and noisy and outdated. The location is lovely, next to the Tiergarten, where you can walk/jog surrounded by deers - very pretty. Will return, but only to newer rooms. Can't judge breakfast, but the room looks very nice!

When I arrived at this hotel I found the ensuite had a bad odeour. At the only bar I was told was this just available for diners. When I tried to end my syay after one day i was told that i would not be given a refund on my 2 night booking . Its about 5 miles from town centre. Oh and breakfast is a big rip off at 34 euros!

Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise völlig in Ordnung. Sehr nettes Personal. Das ein oder andere ist in den Zimmern sehr in die Jahre gekommen, da sollte etwas geändert werden. Dennoch war alles ordentlich und sauber.
