Location of the Hotel is distinctive as it is near the “Funkturm”. The room was clean, with acknowledgment to eco friendly processes ie towels not changed unless you specifically advise it is required. The staff were courteous and efficient. Would recommend the Hotel for prospective customers.

Hotel staff and facilities were good. But traffic works close by (temporary) meant you had to be aware of your surroundings more than normal.

Lovely older style hotel only a few hundred metres from the Central Station, so a perfect location for exploring inner city Hannover. I had the basic room but it was very clean and comfortable and the staff were wonderful. WiFi was excellent and there were plenty of shops and eateries close by.

The hotel is located walking distance to the train station. Our room was beautiful (room 140). In the evenings, when we returned from being out all day, we noticed that the room smelled like the sewer, so we ran water in the sink, shower, and bidet, and flushed the toilet and opened the window to air out the room. The bed was small. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of foods.

Quiet & grest location
Great location, 5 mins from hbf. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. No hot drink options unless you bought breakfast which was disappointing. No tray or shelf in bathroom for toileteries. Inner lobby door to bedroom removed for some reason. Apart from drinks issue pleased to stay again.

The hotel was OK, but for what I paid, it was definitely not worth it. But I did go during a big show in town so didn't have many options. Either way, it was a bit much. The bed was OK/not great, the room was also OK/not great.

Hotel is conveniently located near the main train station. The room was spacious and clean, as per its 3 star rating. I had stayed at the hotel previously and will again in the future.

Nice central hotel
Great situation just behind the main railway station. Very unremarkable road but some nice cafes just around the corner. The room was neat, clean and a good size with a nice en suite. There was quite a lot of traffic and music outside although this would not have been an issue, if I had remembered to shut the window properly. The staff were very helpful and kind. Would stay there again.

Great location, short walk to main train station and enough restaurants to keep you happy a few days. Its on the North side of train station, whereas the South side is the more tourist side with hundreds of spots. This is a little quieter, more local side but very short walk. Couple adult spots nearby but they dont bother you.

A basic place to stay near the railroad station
The economy hotel room was attractive, although basic, and perfectly adequate for my needs (breaking up a long train ride from Italy to Denmark. Visitors should be aware that these rooms are in a separate wing that requires going up one flight of stairs. The hotel is close to the railroad station (you can easily wheel a suitcase) but the neighborhood is not all that attractive.

Convenient, but beware of club noise
This 70's-style hotel convenient -- a short walk from the main train station and other downtown attractions. In the immediate vicinity is a good bit of downscale nightlife, including an "adult" club right next door, which I assume was the source of the throbbing bass beat that was audible in my room long past midnight, although it eventually stopped in the wee hours of the morning. The free WiFi came and went.

The area is a bit... interesting (several gentlemen's clubs around), but that is not unusual this close to a train station. But the hotel is good, centrally located and the staff is friendly and helpful

Can't Beat Hotel Konisgshof !
If I were going to Hannover I would stay nowhere else but at this hotel. Why? Ease of transportation is a big factor. It is within easy walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station), yet situated in a rather quiet semi-residential area. Good grocery store just down the street and around the corner. Hotel has very interesting décor. My room was very clean and larger than others in which I stayed on my trip to this area. And the price is about the lowest one will find. If I go to Hannover again I will choose this hotel!

when i went to check in they gave me a different room which was not as per my booking,in some places the roof was less than 5 ft.it was very uncomfortable.After requesting they changed the room as per my booking.

I was told by the advisor that it is a 4 star hotel but the hotel was only 3 star. A double room was booked but I was given 2 single beds and was told there are no double rooms. When I insisted and showed by receipt for a double room they said they will have to charge extra for a double room. Eventually they agreed to give me the double room (that they first claimed they did not have) at the same price.

Very friendly staff is unfortunately overshadowed by a hotel that is dark and dreary. Rooms were small and uncomfortable. The bed was almost as hard as wood. No air conditioning. Bathroom is small and very old. No shampoo given, just a body soap that was supposed to be used for hair also. Breakfast was very good, but also not worth the price.

Comfortable, quirky hotel
There were antique sewing machines, typewriters and pianos in the public areas. There was even a beautiful Rolls Royce Phantom in the reception area. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable and our room had a small entrance area. There wasn't a second lock on the door which I didn't like. Bathroom was functional as was the rest of the room but it was quirky and homely, unpretentious and we would stay again. We were in a hurry in the morning so didn't get a chance to eat there but there was a restaurant which looked nice.
