“Wonderful except...”

We had a warm welcome and excellent service at Elmers Court. We did not dine there, but breakfast was superb. We were there during particularly cold weather and sadly the single, small radiator in our good-sized bedroom was not up to the task. Similarly, the bathroom was heated by just a towel rail and was icy cold, particularly the tiled floor. This was all such a pity, because it was one of the best hotel rooms I've had in a long while, the grounds offered opportunities for walks, with views of the estuary. The pool and steam room, etc. were excellent. If I was going again in winter, I would take a hot water bottle at least. As I say, the weather was particularly cold.

“Comfort in the New Forest”

Spacious, comfortable rooms with extensive facilities. Slightly isolated from the town of Lymington which makes driving necessary for evening meals unless eating in the hotel itself. Friendly and helpful staff and overall a very satisfying short break.

“Don't bother with the breakfast...”

Nice place to stay, shame about the breakfast. It was very expensive, and you'd think you get a good quality meal and decent service. But no. We waited for 40 minutes to get some bacon on toast and a full English. The poached egg was like a ball of rubber and the sausage (singular) was dry. Plus there was no real apology for the wait or the poor food. Bit of a shame, because the hotel itself was really nice and the grounds wonderful. I probably would recommend staying here, but maybe make other arrangements for meals.

“Overnight seemed like a Holiday”

We just had time for a night away after looking after our two granddaughters for 2 weeks. The attention we received from all the staff was wonderful, after a fantastic dinner, a perfect nights sleep, and a great breakfast, we did feel that we had been on holiday
